Berkshire's powerful contribution to aviation history is graphically re-captured during the museum. Run as a charitable trust, the museum is at the historic website of Woodley Airfield, near learning, U.K. - when the centre of a aircraft industry that is thriving. Miles and Handley Page aircraft built at Woodley are being re-constructed and exhibited along side fascinating pictorial documents and archives.As that are priceless while the Fairey Jet Gyrodyne, Herald, Gannet, Miles Magister, Miles scholar and Westland Scout there are numerous smaller models, photographs and documents to consider and a mini-link trainer for children to have. The aircraft that are under restoration aren't concealed away and on Wednesdays you can see individuals working in the event that you ask nicely!The museum welcomes group visits and operates a working educational programme for schools, connected to National Curriculum needs, showing the development of aviation practices on them- and they'll oftimes be just too happy to explain whatever they're doing.
