Trewithian Farm Cottage

‘Trewithian Farm Cottage is a dog & baby friendly rural retreat perfect for a couple or a single traveller. Attached to a stone built country house the cottage dates from the 14th century. Located in peaceful countryside, close to Bodmin Moor, Padstow, Port Isaac, Newquay & lying just 5 miles from the old market town of Wadebridge. The cottage is in a great central location to explore Cornwall, especially the north and south coasts.

Trewithian Farm Cottage is bright and airy with lovely countryside views and is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

The cottage has one bedroom with a very comfortable double bed (we have had lots of positive feedback) as well as a sofa bed in the living room to accommodate an extra guest. Please message us upon booking if you would like to discuss using this extra sleeping area. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need along with a large fridge freezer to stock up on delicious Cornish goodies. A huge spacious bathroom is located upstairs with hand and shower towels provided as well as an extra toilet downstairs. Trewithian Farm Cottage has excellent WiFi.

We will happily accept babes in arms but the cottage doesn’t have the necessary safety equipment to keep small people on the move safe. We have hosted families that have had a lovely first (stress free) break away with their baby in the cottage. We can provide a changing mat, high chair and baby bath but you will need to bring your own travel cot with bedding.

Dogs:- We accept two dogs maximum. The cottage doesn’t have an enclosed area apart from the small entrance path which has a gate at either end, we are however surrounded by very quiet country lanes and loads of nearby walks. About thirty seconds walk from the house there’s a lovely footpath up past fields with a beautiful view at the end and on the opposite side there’s a footpath that leads down to a very pretty river. There are also lots of other footpaths available locally all a short distance away. If you are bringing a dog with you please let us know so we can prepare the cottage for your furry family members. We do ask that dogs are not left alone in the cottage.

The cottage (which you’ll have all to yourselves) is attached to our family home with its own private car parking area (with room for two cars) and a separate entrance to the property.
