Private cabin situated in a secluded corner of the site. Sleeps 2 adults and 2 children, kitchen, shower, wc, double bed, sofa bed, table and log burner. A private courtyard to the back and large decking area to the front overlooking the small lake.

The Nest

We are a 1 acre site located in Suffolk on part of an agricultural farm, the site is situated on a hill, has a small fishing lake, camping pitches, electric points, a private cabin 'The Nest' and a shepherds hut 'The Hive'

The site is surrounded by trees/hedging and beautiful views over wheat hills. Perfect for happy campers that love peace, tranquility, nature and enjoy countryside walks and/or fishing. Dogs allowed max 3 per pitch, not allowed in the lake and kept on lead after dark.

Wheathill Camping and Fishing

New for 2025, we are now offering a 5 m Bell Tent which has a double bed and a sofa bed for the children. Maximum capacity of 4 people. Out side we offer a picnic bench and fire pit and space for your vehicle. The bell Tent is sited in the meadow.

This double glazed hut sleeps 2 adults in a king size bed and up to two children in a bunk style double above. 

Inside both of the huts you also have a table and 2 chairs, with the use of a fire pit outside. Sheets are provided, however you will need to bring pillows and sleeping bags.

Badger Camping Pod

This hut sited in the meadow sleeps 2 adults in a king size bed and also offers a wood burning stove for those cold evenings.

As we do not have any electric hook up on site, the huts do not offer electricity or a kitchen area. The lights are ran from an external battery. Please bring all cooking utensils as if you are camping. We do offer a small fridge and freezer at East Barn. 

Rabbit

With Just 5 pitches available within 5 acres of land, you are guaranteed space and privacy. You can set up on the main field or wild camp on one of our limited pitches in the meadow.

The site is in a beautiful spot surrounded by open fields and an abundance of wildlife. It is located in Suffolk, close to the charming villages of Felsham and Rattlesden and is only a short drive away from Medieval Lavenham and the Market Town of Bury St Edmunds.
 
Nestling in 10 acres of meadowland this site offers a peaceful children and dog friendly campsite and shepherd's huts where you can enjoy a wild camping experience in our meadowland, campfires, stargazing and an abundance of wildlife.

Its is the perfect place to relax, unwind and escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Barn Owl Camping

Superb 2 bedroom Safari Tent with kitchen, sitting/dining area and private shower and WC. Fully equipped with kitchen utensils, cooking equipment and everything you need for a fabulous stay. All you need to bring is your own bedding!

The Orchard Campsite is set in over 11 acres on the edge of the Suffolk village of Wickham Market. Close to the Suffolk Heritage Coast and Rendlesham Forest.
The site offers a friendly, family atmosphere in a quiet rural setting with a variety of pitches to suit most tastes.
The Orchard has been in Alan Hammond’s family for three generations. Alan first opened the campsite over 25 years ago. No check in or out times.

*Camp Chalkney comprises of 10 luxurious “Nomadic” bell tents situated in a secluded meadow perched on the edge of a beautiful lake.*

Each tent comes furnished with a double bed, full bedding and bath towels, blankets, cushions, matting and colourful rugs, a basic power supply for lighting and phone charging and low lying bedside tables. Additional single mattresses are added for 3-5 guests.

**Damages or Breakages** - **Any damage to site facilities or to our accommodation, including when our tents are left in an unsatisfactory state, will incur additional charges. This also includes any noise disturbance** so please ensure noise levels are kept to a sensible level otherwise you may also incur additional charges. Any **items left behind must be claimed within two weeks of departure.** If relevant, postage and packing charges for the return of goods will apply. Please notify us of any damage or mess to the tent or its contents before your departure. Guests are **not permitted** to remove any items from our dwellings. Please ensure you leave your accommodation in a clean and tidy state
 
**We do not accept bookings from unaccompanied adults aged 18 or under.**

**Campfires** - Campfires are only permitted in designated areas. There is one communal fire pit and each dwelling has its own small fire pit. Please do not make fires anywhere else on the site. **Any fires found outside of the designated areas will incur a charge.** Only timber supplied by us can be used. You are **not permitted** to use branches, debris, or other items you may see around the farmstead. All timber and similar flammable materials are the property of the owners. Please ensure you use your fire pit safely.

**BBQ** - Fire pits and grills are provided with each tent.  If any disposable BBQs are used, they must be kept off the grass and disposed of as directed by our staff.

**Noise** - We are a Low Noise Policy Site. Please consider other guests and keep noise to a minimum, especially after 21.00.

**Parking** - There is free parking next to the site. Your tariffs cover you for one car per dwelling. Additional cars incur a charge and must be parked in the car park. Please let us know if you wish to bring additional vehicles. No vehicles to be driven onto the site.

**Waste & Rubbish** - Wipes, sanitary waste, nappies, cloths etc must not be flushed down the toilets. Bins are provided – please make sure you use them. These items must be wrapped and put in the bin provided. Please empty any liquid waste into designated drain. Refuse area situated by the kitchen. Please do not drop litter. Please respect the site and treat our facilities with care.

**Recycling** - Please make use of the recycling facilities provided. We have recycling bins for glass & general waste. Please note that our general waste is collected by CSH Environmental who have a state-of-the-art recycling centre where all your general waste is sorted and recycled. **SAFETY** - The following are not permitted inside of our tents: gas appliances of any kind, fires, BBQs or smoking. Naked flames are used in/by our tents only when occupied, and are used at your own risk. Please ensure your children do not climb trees in the woodland around the site. Children must be accompanied when using the toilet block facilities. Please be aware of where your children are and what they are doing at all times. Please ensure your children are accompanied at all times and be aware of the dangers. We are not responsible for the safety of your children.
 
**Emergency Numbers** - A list of emergency numbers is available in the kitchen.

**British Weather** - Camping in Britain can mean unpredictable weather. Whilst we supply certain facilities and equipment, it is still camping and you are responsible for your own well being and comfort regarding appropriate clothing and footwear etc. Be aware the tents are cotton canvas and in prolonged and heavy rain the tents may leak. Please keep windows and doors to the tents closed during rainfall to avoid water getting in. Browning Bros. cannot be held responsible for poor weather conditions during your stay.

The owners of the site are absolved of all liability for accidents, loss or damage to guests’ personal property. We reserve the right to ask guests not observing the conditions to leave the site without refunds and with immediate effect.

Chalkney Water Meadows - Browning Bros



With no club and no pool, people who come to Fen Farm do so for the tranquil atmosphere and children often surprise themselves by finding an occupation that does not involve anything being switched on or booted up!

There are always the play areas with swings, seesaws, climbing frames etc. In addition to this, children enjoy ‘crabbing’ in the creeks, playing on the beach or in the sea. We also have an open field for ball games, flying kites or just walking the dog.

Dogs are welcome and there are dog walks all around the park. There are also many footpath walks nearby as well as a dog friendly beach. Ideal for people looking for a quiet family retreat, situated by the sea and close to a country park in a small village on Mersea Island. The Farm has been owned by the Lord family since 1918 and the first tents were pitched in 1923, so the park has grown rather than been developed.


Our aim is to run a peaceful, tranquil park therefore we do not accept bookings of 3 or more pitches. A group is defined by the number of units not the number of people in each unit. We politely ask that people do not make separate bookings and then form a group on arrival or congregate together on site during their stay.

Unfortunately, due to previous experience, we cannot accept bookings of groups of people under 21.

Tomcat Farm is in the heart of Constable Country, Flatford Mill, Dedham and Stratford St Mary are very close and easily accessible. Beautiful Constable Country is located on the Suffolk and Essex border. This enchanting part of England was the birthplace of renowned artist John Constable and has become very popular with visitors. There are many things to see and do in Constable Country, whether visiting for the day or staying a little longer.

Tomcat Farm is also the closest campsite to Jimmys Farm. Jimmys Farm has many things to do for a great day out for all the family.

One of Suffolks newest attractions is the Ed Sheeran Trail with numerous places to visit including Framlingham Castle which is featured in his video The Castle on the Hill, along with other Suffolk scenes including Boyton Marshes, Felixstowe and Mildenhall Stadium.

Chantry ParkThe super modern play area, created by well known play area maker Kompan, has replaced the teeny older playground that was close to the Hadleigh Road entry to your park, and it is now very much available, new and improved!there was a great deal for older kids including a zip cable, plus rope and trampoline structure that is climbing! Toddlers and younger young ones have actually a lot of swings, slides and roundabouts to pick from in a place that is enclosed. So plenty for all many years!Summer holidays along with other occasions that are seasonal available activities held by the wildlife rangers, where kids will get a bit of additional fun and learn some nature facts. For older kinds or those with appropriate college subjects additionally they provide talks on frequently the real history of Chantry Mansion and Park. These are frequently held within the Walled Garden.There are a few picnic tables and toilets near by so it is easy to make yourselves in the home and all this in a park that is truly stunning lovely walks and views and a great amount of areas to explore such as the formal gardens, forests and wildlife areas. Exceptional for a day that is peaceful of research.

Chantry Park

At Suffolk Ski Centre there's so fun that is a lot be had with a fantastic self-confidence building activity that develops the mind along with the human body. It is also a satisfying and developmentally task that is beneficial kids making available to the children with kindergarten ski play, competition training, ski toboggan and snowboard parties, and a Saturday workshop to build skill levels.It's worth going to these special sessions with more youthful young ones as the slopes are off limits to under 7s otherwise.They also have Ringos which are fundamentally expansive bands you sit in and slip down the slope on. Ringo's are fun and safe for all. Sessions will likely be run utilizing 50 % of the primary slope so it's a slide that is serious! Minimal age is 8, and gloves, long sleeve top and trousers needs to be worn at all times. Booking is vital with this task.
