Old York Forest Camping Site

We are small, peaceful and pretty site, with three lakes, dog walking area and a nature area onsite. We are a fourth generation farming family who farm nearby the site. Over the years we have loved walking the farmland and lakes. Its our place of happiness! We want to share this place so that other couples and families can enjoy it as we so often do! With open views of farmland to the West and 367 acres of Woodland to the right, you have the perfect setting for finding contentment.

The lakes are perfect for enjoying a picnic whilst watching the moor-hens, ducks, geese or deer who often call for a drink early in the morning!

Old York Forest caravan site in East Yorkshire is open all year round. We are 15 minutes dive from the City of York on the edge of 367 acres of peaceful woodland called Allerthorpe Woods. This includes 22 acres of Yorkshire Wildlife Trust nature reserve called Allerthorpe Common. If you are looking to re-connect with nature, climb a tree, catch a fish or simply find some peace & tranquillity in the surroundings of farmland & adjacent woodland , Old York Forest is perfect for you.
