- We don’t have set pitches. Just pick your spot.
- We are a grass site for tents and campervans (VWT5 maximum size). No motorhomes.
- We are a family site and will not accept all male or female groups of more than 4.
- Duke of Edinburgh students, Scouts, Walking/Climbing clubs are welcome but must be pre-arranged.
- We allow contained raised fire pits and barbecues until 11pm but you must bring your own. Campfires are not allowed.
- You can park beside your tent on some of our fields except in adverse weather conditions. - The other fields have parking bays next to them and cannot be accessed by car.
- We allow dogs on site but they must be kept under control. Please clean up after your dog immediately.
- There is no wifi or electric hook up on site. You bring everything you need with you.
- Showers, toilets, a washing up area, bins and drinking water are provided.
- There is a corner shop in the village- a 10 minute walk away.
- A freezer is available for ice packs. 
- A plug for hairdryers/straighteners is available in the ladies for 50p.

Baysbrown Farm Camping

Perched in the middle of this green and pleasant valley and surrounded by towering mountains is the church of St Mary in Longsleddale. If it looks familiar, it’s because Longsleddale was the inspiration for Greendale, the fictional home of Postman Pat and his black and white cat. Although there is no postmistress Mrs Goggins, or local handyman Ted Glen on hand to avert any mail-related disasters for visitors this summer, the well-appointed Community Hall next door means that you can cook your own locally-produced fayre as early as you like in order to get out and enjoy the Cumbrian countryside.

Grizedale Forest is situated between Coniston Water and Lake Windermere and offers fantastic trails to explore on foot or bike. 
Purchase a trail map from the information point and discover the world famous sculptures that are sited throughout the forest, hire a bike or visit the shop at Biketreks Grizedale or book onto one of the Go Ape activities who offer forest Segway tours and high rope challenges. A well-earned visit  to our Café in the Forest is a must to end your day of art and adventure.
