Cae Canol

Situated in the gorgeous Towy Valley, Glanmarlais Camping offers pitches on mostly flat ground in a gently sloping field, with spectacular views of the Brecon Beacons and glorious constellations in one of the world’s darkest skies. The site is ideally located for world-class walking, mountain bike riding and motorbiking.

​Guests will enjoy a peaceful and largely wild rural retreat, with amenities including compost toilets, a hot shower powered by an air-source heat pump (with changing room and vanity area), a washing up area, as well as a communal fridge. You will also have access to charging facilities for electronic devices, while the large barn provides a characterful communal dry space with tables and seating. Campfires are allowed by your tent, and firewood is available for purchase on site, with an initial welcome bundle on the house.

​Funds from the campsite contribute to the development of a conservation grazing program to enhance Glanmarlais Farm’s floral and faunal diversity and protect its existing habitats.

​The farm has belonged to the Soil Association for 25 years and is a member of the Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group for Wales.
