What's inside the tents?
1. We have 10 fully furnished bell tents here at the Himalayas, with nearly everything you need for a relaxing holiday without the need to bring anything. 

Each tent contains the following: 

1. 1 double and 2 single Z beds (additional beds are available for an extra £25 per night) 
2. All bedding - pillows, duvets and bed sheets 
3. Two small side tables, with plants 
4. Magnetic torch to light up your tent and aid your late night dash to the loos 
5. Fire pit with fire lighters (logs are available from the farm)
6. Cosy rugs and fluffy mats
7. Fridge (Only available in the stretch tent)

Our Beautiful 5mtr Bell Tents are supplied with a Bed (No Bedding), a table and Carpet inside.  Outside you will have your own fenced off space with an awning, low table/seating, solar Lighting and Fire Pit (first bag of Logs free)

We provide two field kitchens with gas ring burners and two washing up stations. Please supply your own cooking equipment.

We are delighted to be working with Beau & Bell on our stunning site situated in the West Sussex Countryside of Balcombe. 

​With just 10 bell tents and 1 tepee our site is small and peaceful. We are fortunate enough to be surrounded by plenty of National Trust Gardens, Pubs, a Water Sport's Center and much more. 

All Beau & Bell tents have fully made up beds, soft matting and furnishing making for a restful stay within the Countryside.

We are delighted to say that there will be a central communal Tipi or Bell Tent which will open to all our campers to use during the day and evening. Inside there will be sofas and/or chairs and tables and soft lighting. Please use hand sanitiser before and after entering the communal tent. Please note campers will need to bring their own towels and tea towels.

Bluebell Camp

Our ‘wild glamping’ option books you a stay in one of our spacious pre-erected bell tents, with beds and cooking equipment provided. The option of glamping near Brighton, London and the South Coast is perfect for families or couples. Small groups of families can hire bell tents in the same area. We have two secluded bell tents, called the ‘faraway bell tents’ which can be requested when booking, subject to availability.

Wild Glamping Bell Tent

Wild Boar campsite is a real hidden gem.  So hidden in fact, you might have trouble finding it, so follow the directions carefully.  Once in the know, you will arrive to find the most beautifully secluded campsite, tucked into an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the rolling East Sussex countryside; a very private site, nestled in five-acres woodland, adorned with bluebells in the Spring and surrounded by 35 acres of fields.  Alongside the fields runs the Bluebell Railway line, where you can wave at the passing heritage steam trains.  It is here, in this magical woods, that you will find nine pretty Bell Tents, set up and ready to go.  Your wild camping adventure can begin.

The Bell Tents are burrowed in and among the trees and each is 5 metres wide, comfortably sleeping a family of 6.  Inside, there are comfy beds, a table, cooking equipment, a kettle and crockery.  There are drinking water taps on the site and each tent is supplied with a 25 litre container so you don’t have to keep running backwards and forwards to the tap everytime you want a drink.  It is simple, authentic camping….in style.  The site is kept car free, so you’ll be wheelbarrowing your stuff across the fields from the car park to unpack at your Bell Tent, but having pre-pitched glamping tents means you shouldn’t have to bring too much from home.  Wild Boar campsite is off-grid, so the only illumination here comes from solar lights, wind-up lanterns, low energy led battery units and the moon, meaning little light pollution and gorgeous starry nights.

Also in the woodland camp, you will find eco flushing toilets - built by a carpenter from local larch - a covered communal area with a large fire pit, perfect for getting together for meals around the fire.  Wild Boar campsite also has a garden shed crammed with allsorts: local information, maps, walking routes, books to borrow, a hob to boil your kettle and treats to buy like handpicked herbal tea and marshmallows.  You are actively encouraged to make a campfire from scratch and cook on it - none of this matches nonsense (although actually they are provided) - and in fact you are actively encouraged to take part in a whole raft of Swallows and Amazons type adventures here.  In this environment, you probably won’t have to think too hard about it; your body will just take over and you’ll start whittling sticks and spotting birds on autopilot as you enter the woodland.  Go bug hunting, build a den, explore the woods and look out for all sorts of wildlife - deer, badgers, foxes, rabbits, squirrels, bats, stoats, weasels - East Sussex is home to a rich array of flora and fauna.  The showers are an experience in themselves; traditional bucket showers.  There are not many opportunities to shower while listening to birdsong or looking at the treetops and it will be the one time your kids have no qualms about getting a wash!  Not only are bucket showers brilliantly authentic, they are very eco friendly, conserving a huge amount of water compared to a regular shower.

It’s hard to believe this slice of paradise is situated close to London, with the colourful streets of Brighton only 30 minutes away.  For anyone wanting to explore the south coast of England, Wild Boar glamping is certainly an excellent place to stay, but for others, simply the experience of exploring the woodland campsite itself and having the time to reconnect with nature, take life slowly and adventure around the great outdoors will make for a wonderful and memorable camping holiday.

Peter Herbert attained Gravetye in 1958. Captivated by Robinson's house and it's establishing he'd the brand new concept of inserting their own excellent resort maintaining and restaurant standards directly into this spot that is rural. Over 40 years on, Gravetye has lost none of its side. This has a quality that is timeless perhaps not trendy, and yet perhaps not aged and stuffy. The service is warm and friendly, and that's down seriously to the enthusiasm of the united group, but that would not be happy to work with such an environment? Time has enabled projects, for instance the restoration of this kitchen yard, to come to fruition and miraculously the thousand acre oasis of forest in which Gravetye sits resisted encroachment, although only 30 miles far from Hyde Park Corner.in 2004, General Manager, Andrew Russell and Chef de Cuisine, Mark Raffan, both of whom had worked for the Herbert Family for over seventeen years, purchased the hotel april. They both have a affection that is excellent affiliation with this historic household and garden. They've been both pleased to help you to carry on the philosophy of great nation house hospitality and to maintaining and nurturing this garden that is historically important.

1. The Holmsted Himalayas Bell Tent site is situated in a peaceful corner of the West Sussex countryside. We are fortunate enough to be surrounded by lush countryside of woodland, lakes, with many country places of interest within a short distance, including the National Trust's Nymans Gardens, which is only 2 miles from the campsite.

2. Our bell tents offer a great, hassle free alternative to normal camping with each tent equipped with Z-beds, soft bedding, tables, cutlery and lighting. At the moment, we have 10 tents spread out across our site, as well as our brand new communal stretch tent - here you'll find the communal fridges, kettles and access to mains power to charging your (and your children's!) devices. We do not permit campervans, caravans or bring your own tents; however we do have a Caravan and Motorhome Club Site here at the farm

Wings Museum is a spot that is truly good the kids to learn exactly what it absolutely was like through the second World War and involves an abundance of sensory elements plus the education. The Dolphin Haywards Heath has a 32 metre / 25 metre, 6 lanes main children's pool and a 12 metre x 9.5 metre, 0.9 metre depth toddler pool filled with elephant slide.There is also a ongoing health suite with little pool, sauna, vapor space and a spa pool and in case you can get peckish there is certainly the Freedom cafe and licensed bar area.
