Taigh Na Fraoch

We are situated in Assynt in some of the most stunning scenery of the North West Highlands of Scotland. We sit directly on the route of the North Coast 500.
We are a small award winning family friendly and family run campsite that sits some 100 metres away from the wonderful Clachtoll beach and the imposing Split Rock

Achmelvich Beach is a sandy that is white busy in the summertime since it's a favorite spot with water skiers, windsurfers and kayakers plus fishing is allowed in the Blue Flag Awarded waters.The waters are considered safe for shallow household swimming but there is no lifeguard cover.Local amenities are limited to 2 campsites, no touristy stuff, although the terrain differs quickly providing interesting hiking nearby. Dogs aren't allowed in the beach through the peak tourist season and neither associated with the camping and caravan web sites allow dogs.It's quite isolated so the nav that is sat aiming just to enable you to get close: please prepare the end of one's journey thoroughly and separately.

Achmelvich Bay

Inchnadamph Caves, also known as the Bone Caves, may be reached via an attractive and stroll that is popular a limestone valley with a secret to share with you! From arctic polar bears and lynx that is north to the hyenas and hippos of warmer climes, numerous pets have remaining their mark on the Bone Caves of Creag nan Uamh!there was a good 2km (1 mile) course through the car park at the seafood hatchery towards the Bone Caves however it does go over some rough and high ground therefore keep your eyes peeled as you walk.
