Fleet Air Arm Museum

The Fleet that is regal Air Museum is devoted to the traveling arm associated with the Royal Navy, and holds thousands of objects, which range from complete aircraft, to photographs, specific medals, and papers, plus models of aircraft and Royal Navy vessels. Lots to delight the army munchkin! which are minded museum comprises of 4 large halls, every one of that has top and lower levels that tell the story of naval aviation from the first manned kites (towed behind Naval vessels!) to present Sea Harriers and helicopters, and every thing in between! Hall 1 has a display showing just how aviation that is naval from the start of airships and bi planes, to contemporary jet aircraft and helicopters. Hall 2 is especially devoted to WWII, including a Kamikaze display in a side room.Hall 3 offers 'The Aircraft Carrier Enjoy', because of the room that is whole into a mock-up regarding the fleet carrier HMS Ark Royal as it would have appeared in the 1970. You begin with a simulated helicopter ride to your carrier, then enter the trip deck, with aircraft on display, and 2 screens that are big take offs and landings of aircraft! In Hall 4, you can find out more about the idea of trip and discover some exemplary aircraft, like the first built Concorde that is uk!
