It’s pared back, rather than ramped up, providing everything you need for a stay where the focus is on the simple things: campfires, countryside, views, vines and, of course, wine. The comfy double airbeds are made for you, a fire pit and logs are provided and a welcome glass of Downsview wine will be served in this three-acre vineyard’s tasting room/bar on arrival night (that’s Friday). This place does weekend-only stays – which is just right for the grown-up crowd it aims to attract.

They also make it a pretty perfect place to pitch a tent. It’s something that didn’t go unnoticed by the vineyard’s new owners, who have decided to pitch one for you. That’s assuming you like the sound of a fully-equipped bell tent on a vineyard, with campfires allowed and a tiny, exclusive, on-site bar. Who wouldn’t?

Each 5m bell tent is equipped with up to 4 Foam Z Beds, Sheepskin, Faux Fur Rug, Full Circle Soft flooring, Centre Table, Multi-Coloured Sphere Light, 2 Low Tables, Decorative Faux Plants, Larry Light Torch.

On the outside, you will find. Bunting Outside, Solar Light and Flower Garlands.

Crockstead Fields is a beautifully maintained and totally private green field site. The main event field is surrounded by oak trees and access is via the bridge across the stream.

Our stunning hand-built Pagoda, licensed for marriage ceremonies, sits under a natural canopy of trees, creating a visually stunning setting for a wedding ceremony, yoga class, meditation or perhaps even an afternoon of live acoustic music and entertainment.

Hidden in the trees behind the ceremony area lies our tree-house bar. Perfect for hosting small drinks receptions or as a chillout space throughout your stay.

We have a separate camping field available for all guests, complete with camping amenities to make for a comfortable stay.

One of the many reasons that people choose Nutley Edge Cottages is our option that is substantial of accommodation. You'll choose from twelve bright, spacious, open-plan cottages that sleep as much as four people, plus the century that is 17th Farmhouse that sleeps up to eight. Two of our cottages are fully wheelchair-accessible. We also provide an exclusive glamping area with two 4 metre bell tents, You'll enjoy wonderful views over the rolling hills and woodland that is surrounding.

The Higler hut is designed for couples only, who want to get away for a few days of comfortable relaxation, reading and sleeping, for those who enjoy simple pleasures associated with the countryside and being outdoors.

The hut is off grid and set well away from the rest of the camping areas, under the partial shade of an old oak tree. It is simply laid out with a French Double bed, Chilly Billy wood burner, comfy seats and reading lights.

There is a single burner gas cooker for kettle boiling and simple cooking and sink. Outside there is a BBQ, fire pit and grid, picnic bench, shower and eco toilet.

These large private pitches are for couples or families. These are at least 50 meters from the next camping area. Each pitch has a fire pit, picnic table, toilet, mains water and showers are close by.

Priced at £28 per night including 2 people, additional adults are £14 per person, children are £8 per person.

Pear tree and Glade

Two large private and secluded grass areas with loads of space for families who want to be together. Each of these pitches has a minimum of two toilets, camp fire, benches, picnic table and  dish washing station. Mains water and hot shower are close by.

Spinney and Meadow Sweet -  Family Group Pitches

Anderida, ideal for those that don't quite do camping and want to enjoy themselves with the kids tucked up in bed. It is a fully self contained Shepherds hut which sleeps two adults and two children. There is a full cooker, shower and for winter time a wood burner in the hut, The rooms are interconnected and the hot shower inside the hut.  Outside there is a fire pit, picnic table, BBQ, easy chairs and sun shade.
The Higler hut is for adults only and self contained in a field by itself. There is a covered outside hot shower and toilet, picnic table and firepit. There is a gas BBQ and covered outside kitchen area. Inside the beautiful hand crafted Cedar wood hut there is a wood burner, single gas ring, comfortable French bed, chairs table and sink.
Stays are for a minimum of 3 nights with a heavily discounted price for a full week booking. During this Covid time ask you to bring your own pillows and Duvet, and we have removed all food/condiments until the pandemic is under control.

Anderida Shepherds Hut

3 large private grass pitches with fire pits, benches and a picnic table. Each has their own washing up station and each has their own toilet. These are generous size pitches that can take two families.

1 small campervan is allowed on Sunnyside.
