About Us
Adventure One opened its doors in March 2004, originally located in Letterkenny we were North Donegals only surf shop! In May 2006 we opened the 1st ISA Approved Surf School on Donegals North coast and havent looked back. Being ISA approved means our instructors are ISA qualified coaches as well as RLSS beach lifeguards and we are fully insured.

At Adventure One surf school we offer surf lessons and coaching for complete beginners to intermediate and advanced surfers. Our surf lessons are run in the crystal clear waters of Ballyheirnan Bay in Fanad by our experienced instructors, who will ensure that you have a fantastic surfing experience with us.

We prepare & run lessons for schools, youth groups, stag/hen parties, social clubs, as well as families and individuals who wish to surf. Gift vouchers are also available.

Being ISA approved guarantees our instructors are fully qualified ISA coaches as well as being qualified RLSS beach lifeguards and that the school is fully insured. The minimum age is 8 years old and all boards and wetsuits are provided.

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP) is a traditional Hawaiian sport which promotes balance, strength and general fitness. It has become the fastest growing water sport in the world, thanks mainly to the media exposure watermen like Laird Hamilton and celebrities like Cameron Diaz have gained.

You don't have to have surfed before to try it and it is a fantastic way for improving your fitness, as it provides an isometric workout that strengthens your core muscle groups, while giving you a FUN and EXCITING way to view your natural surroundings.

SUP is a water-sport that can be enjoyed by everyone, anywhere there is water. It can be a serene and peaceful form of gentle exercise or exciting and physically demanding, whichever you choose, it is great for your body.

SUP costs
Adventure One Stand Up Paddle Boarding school run our classes on the beautiful beach at Rathmullan. Our lessons are 1� hours in duration and cost &euro;30 for adults and &euro;25 for kids. All wetsuits, boards, paddles and buoyancy aids are provided. We only take kids from age 11+

WE LOVE SHARING THE STOKE
We are passionate about surfing generally, and surfing in Ireland particularly. Everyone that works at Narosa loves the Ocean, being in it, around it, and encouraging others to explore their relationship with it.

The Donegal coastline is hugely varied, offering great surfing if you know where to look. We use our forecasting and coaching experience to pick the right place to surf so you progress faster and have more fun.

Students need to feel confident in the water before they develop good surfing technique. We teach ocean safety skills to develop confidence and then build technique in a simple, step-by-step process.

We actively seek out new innovations and training techniques, both at home and abroad distilling down the most effective and incorporated them into progression pathways.

Paddle boarding is an increasingly popular and fun activity originating from Hawaii that almost all ages can participate in.
Its a great exercise offering an all over body workout. Paddleboarding lets you experience the scenery in a unique and environmentally friendly way exploring the secret beaches, archways, waves and wildlife.

Narosa Surf School

Laser Quest Letterkenny also referred to as Arena 7 welcomes small (and big!) warriors over 6 years of age for a mess-less, bruise-less, zero contact war-game used up to date infra equipment that is red! Amazing! Arena 7's atmospheric, multi degree arena additionally features audio visual effects to really make the experience realistic, so it is a fab journey for gamers and kids whom love playing war games in the home. The age that is minimum height restrictions suit perfectly the weight for the backpack and gear they should tote. Additionally on site is the Wayne's World Kids' Adventure Playground! An internal combing maze with plenty of features spread over a few floors, with big slides, plenty of balls and a toddler zone that is cool. You may play with pedal karts which are go competition around a custom kiddie track, enjoy a game of pool on intriguingly coloured tables, perform a game title or two or footie regarding the astro turf pitch and spend your pocket cash (or mum's) into the arcade!
