There's nothing quite like the woodburning stove at night with the flames flickering to create a warm, comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, far from the pressures of the world. Having started our glamping site with Tipis in 2003 we still consider it the most wonderful structure!

Decorated with Native American patterns, the Tipi is heated with a woodburning stove (with a fireguard). This accommodation sleeps four with one double and two single beds. Blankets with Native American designs create a lovely ambience and large cushions and bean bags are also provided for that extra comfort.

There is a chest full of extra blankets, a two ringed gas camping stove and all of your cooking equipment – pans, plates, kettle, mugs and cutlery. Lighting is provided and hanging lanterns help to create a warm and exceptionally cosy atmosphere. We also supply firelighters and a good supply of chopped, dry and seasoned hardwood in a basket.

Camp Bed

Set a little apart from the rest of the campsite you will have your own tranquil private area. There is also an outdoor campfire area with table and seating.

The Alachigh is eight meters in diameter and has an oak breakfast bar which allows you to soak up the stunning view across the Teifi Valley. In the centre is a wood-burning stove surrounded by a fitted fireguard. There are four single beds and one double - bedding is available at prior request at an additional charge.

Sheepskins, rugs, colourful throws, pillows, cushions and soft lighting adorn the Alachigh for that extra comfort, with drapes between the beds for a little privacy. There is also a sofa bed/settee, a large coffee table/chest (which contains plenty of extra blankets), three bedside tables, a cooking area which contains a gas hob, cooking equipment and all the crockery and cutlery you could possibly want!

A bigger kitchen in the log cabin is a short distance away, as are the toilet and shower facilities.

The Alachigh

With its tall roof this yurt feels very spacious. Furnished with warm tones contrasting to the ivory lining - a cosy and homely feeling awaits you.

The Bentwood yurt has a wood-burning stove which gives out plenty of heat, even in the depths of winter, and is furnished with three pine beds - two singles and a double. The beds are adorned with throws, pillows and cushions - together with a chest full of blankets if it gets a little cold. There is a gas hob and all the cooking equipment, utensils and crockery you could need. Soft lighting, sheepskins and rugs create a comfortable and superb place to relax and unwind from the chaos that is the world today!

The Bentwood Yurt

Unusual accommodation for the discerning traveller! The Lavvu is similar to a Tipi in shape, incorporates a crown like a yurt and has a wonderfully unique cocoon-like feel to it.

Furnishings include a double bed and two singles - with colourful throws, cushions, sheepskins and rugs creating a warm ambience. With an easy to use central wood burning stove and a basket of firewood - ready and waiting for your arrival. There is a dining table and a storage chest full of blankets in case it gets a little cold during the night.

The Lavvu also has a gas hob and all the cooking equipment, utensils and crockery you could need! Outside there is a private campfire area, seating and a picnic bench - perfect for a spot of outdoor cooking or roasting some marshmallows!

The Lavvu

In its own private setting this is a very cosy and warm yurt. The Ger has a central wood-burning stove and is furnished with three raised pine beds - one double and two singles. The beds are decorated with colourful throws and cushions creating a wonderfully warm ambience. Pillows are provided - bedding can be supplied at extra charge - and we supply a chest full of blankets if it gets a little cold. There is a gas hob inside the Ger with all the cooking equipment, utensils and crockery you could need. You will have a basket of firewood for every day of your stay and there is also a private campfire just outside the Ger (perfect for outdoor cooking!) as well as a picnic bench.

Morgan the shepherd's hut is a cosy little retreat in its own paddock and with its own facilities. It's perfect for couples with a double memory foam mattress, and pillows, sheet, duvet and towels all supplied. There is plenty of storage for clothes and anything else you may bring under the bed and in the old pine cupboards, and there is a drop-down table with chairs for eating indoors. All cooking and eating utensils are supplied and a heated towel radiator inside. There is a futo sofa bed, suitable for two little ones or one adult size.

Outside you will find a table and chairs, fire pit/barbecue (wood is available to buy on site), a green toilet, gas shower and a covered outdoor kitchen (which includes a gas camping stove) just for Morgan's guests. You need bring nothing other than yourselves and personal items - no packing stress to worry about!

Dogs are not allowed inside the shepherd's hut and must be kept leashed at all times as there are farm animals all around.

Cwt ar y Bryn is our 2 bedroom cwt (hut) with a king size bed, 2 singles and a travel cot if required (subject to availability). Four guests are the perfect amount, though we can accommodate one more on a fold up bed in the living room (surcharges apply).


The king size bed takes pride of place in the centre of the main bedroom and sits opposite the window to make the most of the panoramic views from its place on the hill.  There are 2 comfy sofas and a small dining table with 4 chairs. Cwt ar y Bryn is situated at the top of our land, facing south. The showers and toilet are less than a minute away and the kitchen cabin about a minute. 


Y Cwt has its own Tŷ Bach (‘small house’ which means toilet in Welsh!) next door: a pretty, hand built, eco-friendly tree bog, though we do have a flushing loo in one of the wet rooms if you prefer. The showers, toilet & kitchen cabin are just under a minute away.


Y Cwt is modern, bright and spacious with high ceilings and floor to ceiling murals in the living room and main bedroom that give it the wow-factor when you walk in. We've coined the phrase "Welsh-Scandi" for Y Cwt as minimalist decor, wooden floors, a bespoke woodburner, blonde-wood walls and a feeling of peace give it this kind of feel.

Cwt ar y Bryn (Hut on the Hill)

Cromen Ddôl (Meadow Dome) is our largest, most spacious, high-ceilinged dome, with 1 king size, four poster bed & 2 singles. We can also fit in 2 fold up beds or a travel cot if required (subject to availability/surcharges apply for fold up beds). This dome is situated in a quieter area of our meadow & takes in the big, southerly views of our beautiful Welsh countryside.

The four poster bed, which takes pride of place in the centre of the room, & sits opposite the window, was made from Welsh Ash grown less than an hour from our door & made by an amazing local carpenter Paul. Cromen Ddôl also has its own sofa to one side of the windows so you can sit & enjoy the outdoors even when indoors.

Cromen Ddôl has its own Tŷ Bach (‘small house’ which means toilet in Welsh!) next door: a pretty, hand built, eco-friendly tree bog, though we do have a flushing loo in one of the wet rooms if you prefer. The showers, toilet & kitchen cabin are just under a minute away across the meadow.

This dome has a cool & quirky meadow-themed décor which reflects the countryside around us at Wild Wellingtons. Huge windows across the front merges the outside with the inside: lay in bed with a cup of tea & a magazine, looking out at the sky and the mountains, lush (as we say in Wales).

The four poster bed takes pride of place in the centre of the room and sits opposite the window to make the most of the panoramic views of Welsh hills, mountains, pasture and skies. 


Cromen Glan Môr is situated in our meadow, around 13 metres from the grassed play area. The kitchen cabin, showers and toilet are less than a minute away.


This dome has a subtle coastal themed décor: natural materials in deep, calm colours, washed out effects and furnishings, candle lit hurricane lanterns and quirky ornaments, depicting things found at the seaside, embody our wild Welsh coast. This is no deckchair and beach hut kind of dome!

Off the grid cabin experience, close to nature, a truly great getaway from our techy world.

The cabin sleeps up to 4, (a fifth can sleep on a camping mattress), It has its own woodburner, a double bed and two singles, great views across the countryside and hills.

Set on the edge of the field, the sunniest spot on the site. Over the last couple of years this unique cabin, once a drumming studio, has been refurbished, with new cladding, lots of work, including a large new porch area to sit and look at the views, or cook undercover.

The log cabin is very well insulated so warm in winter and cool in summer, it has been re clad with local timber and the recycled furniture is high quality and comfortable (apart from new high grade mattresses). There’s a three piece cottage suite to sit and relax being warmed by the log fire. Also a solar pv lighting system so off the grid means you are not left in the dark…It now has a separate kitchen area to prep and keep all your food, but as your on holiday you can always order a takeaway, Indian, kebab or pizza?

The cabin overlooks the Preselli Mountains which over to the West join the sea and the famous Pembrokeshire coast. There’s not only unspoilt countryside or beaches for walking or just enjoying, there’s lots to do including dolphin and seal spotting, horse riding, coasteering, or just mooching around local towns including the historic Cardigan market town and Castle.

Designed for two it has its own kitchen, dining and bedroom areas, also toilet. The wood burning stove makes it ideal for romantic retreats and winter breaks alike. It has all the comforts with a solar powered lighting system and small gas stove. The shower is a walk away through the small wooded lane. The outside seating area is snuggled between the horsebox and a wildlife area with pond. There is also an outside firepit and BBQ stove.

Pets are welcome on our site, however please note that only one dog in lorry and only allowed in the porch area.

North Lodge is sited on a south facing gentle slope overlooking the beautiful Preselli Hills of the Pembrokeshire National Coast Park. We have 4.5 acres for visitors to enjoy. There is plenty to do in the area all year round and we offer short weekend or long stay breaks, throughout the seasons, including a Christmas winter retreat.

Close by there are woodland, hill, and coastal walks, beaches, cycle routes, water and horse riding activities. Near to Cardigan Bay, for dolphin and seal trips, and Newport for fine dining and views... Lots of attractions and things to do: Castle Henllys medieval village, Wales Wildlife Centre, Cenarth Falls and Coracle Centre, Shire Horse Farm, Boat trips and kayaking, Castles and standing stones, events and festivals right through the year.

North Lodges, cabin in the old orchard, its own private space. Off the grid cabin experience, a great holiday retreat, after exploring the beautiful North Pembrokeshire area come back for a warm and relaxing night.

The cabin sleeps up to 4, (a fifth can sleep on a camping mattress), It has its own woodburner, a double bed and daybed that extends for a double/two singles, great views across the countryside and the Preseli Mountains.

Following on from the success of Preseli Cabin, the damson cabin idea started with the great winds of 2013/14 when one of the only remaining trees in the orchard a damson tree was felled by the wind, why not put a cabin in its place? Since its erection in early February 2014, this ex display rather tired leaky cabin has been lovingly restored and weatherproofed, using local or sustainable products and furniture, including a beautiful vintage bed. Decorated with colours reflecting calm and relaxation, out of the two cabins it has been described by visitors as the more romantic. But it also lends itself to groups with the non campers staying in the cabin whilst their camping friends pitch up in the orchard.

The cabin also has a firepit and its own kitchen for food preparation and cooking undercover.

This location offers more seclusion and a bit more peace set in approximately half an acre by itself. With all the amenities you require you can enjoy with ease.

This site has been designed to have everything you need without all of the clutter that many venues have. We want you to be able to return to basics to enjoy the area as opposed to being too focused on technology. This is off grid and back to basics outdoor living.

We have supplied you with a fire kit, along with s’mores to enjoy your evening with us.

We clean everything down following a stay with safe4, each stay is a minimum of two nights, bedding/towels etc are not provided.

This area has a basic kitchen, 6m bell tent and a picnic table. Within your accommodation you will find beds for 4 guests, a coat stand, your own composting toilet, over night logs and a log burning stove.
