The Kielder Centre contains the North of England's largest and most complete collections of Birds Of Prey!At the Centre you will discover a massive selection of types to see or watch and learn about, plus information that is fascinating their arguably essential role within natural world ecology. In addition they may play a role that is significant captive breeding programmes for preservation purposes therefore it is truly fascinating material if you are of a mind to understand it, not rammed down a person's neck: so if you'd exactly like to consider the pretty birdies that's okay too!You can view a Falcon swoop down through the skies at over 100mph, plus understand rate and grace of Eagles, Hawks and Kites. You can also often experience the excitement that is unique of several of those stunning and extraordinary birds! Flying shows are available to view March through October, weather permitting, at 13:30 and 15:00.Walking across the rest of the grounds you can often also spot badgers, roe deer, otters and shrews plus wild birds that are numerous, of an evening, bats!
