For adults only and set at the end of our orchard, the Shepherd’s hut has been designed for those who truly want a comfortable camping trip. 

The hut sleeps up to 2 adults in a double bed. There is a wood burning stove inside the hut to keep you warm and comfortable whatever the weather, complete with solar lighting, within the hut. We provide logs, kindling, fire lighters and matches.

- At this accommodation you will be complimented with your own private kitchen area, a gas stove with a double burner, grill, a Belfast sink with running drinking water and all the pots pans and cutlery you will need to prepare some good camping dinners. 

- Outside you also have a raised fire pit with grill and provided logs kindling, fire lighters and matches so you can either enjoy some traditional camp cooking or just sit back, relax and take in the sunset over a campfire.  

- The yurt now even has electric sockets and it's own mini fridge.

The Garden Yurt

Nestled into the glorious **Warwickshire** countryside, a stone’s throw from historic **Stratford-upon-Avon** and not far from the beautiful **Cotswolds**, sits the gorgeous **Twiteys Tipis** and camping meadows.  It is a beautiful campsite; small and cosy, family friendly and peaceful, secluded and private (unless you come in a large group and then they’ll cater for that too).  It is camping of a time gone by - wildflower meadows and long grasses with pathways where children can explore the trails, play hide and seek, spot some wildlife, get back to nature and be completely rewilded!  Just to note though: dogs are not allowed here, due the abundant wildlife and surrounding farmland, so you will have to leave your furry pals behind for this one.

The two pretty meadows for camping are strictly car free, which not only means it is safer for kids, it’s less noisy and the views are even more scenic; wheelbarrows are provided to transport tents and luggage down to where the pitches are and this all adds to the fun.  Each very spacious camping pitch is hidden in the long grasses for a secluded and private feel, and each has its own fire pit - perfect for evening campfires and toasting marshmallows.  Facilities here are excellent, well maintained and spanking clean.  There are several private showers with their own changing areas, flushing toilets, washbasins, washing up sinks with hot water, a large fridge freezer, recycling area and a well stocked shop for anything you might need food-wise, plus camping essentials in case you forget something crucial!  You can also buy sustainable logs for the campfire.

Aside from the lovely camping meadows, there are some great **glamping** options too.  Overlooking upper meadow and next to a small wooded area, there are two **Tipis** - Takoda sleeping 4 and Amitola sleeping 6.  They are wonderfully fun, and furnished with futons, mattresses, blankets, rugs and other bits and pieces to make your stay comfy (bring sleeping bags or duvets though, it can get chilly at night) including - as a rather lovely touch - a welcome basket of food.  Each Tipi has its own kitchen unit with a gas burner to cook on (under a roof in case it rains), a sink, and space to prepare your food.  They also each have a fire pit with a raised grill to do some proper rustic campfire cooking and logs, kindling and firelighters are provided too.

Apart from the Tipis there is also a lovely **Shepherds Hut** to stay in.  Separate from the camping pitches on upper meadow and tucked away privately at the end of the Orchard, this adults only and incredibly romantic wood-panelled hut has a cosy double bed and a woodburner to keep you cosy on chilly nights.  And lastly, the newest addition to the glamping family is a very pretty and luxurious **Yurt**, raised up to get the best views across the meadows with its own private kitchen with a gas stove, sink and small fridge.  It sleeps 4 so it is great for families.  

The MET office has named this as one of the sunniest campsites in the UK, which is maybe one of the reasons that everyone is so happy here.  **Twiteys Tipis** consistently gets rave reviews from campers and glampers who stay here, with guests especially loving the space, the privacy, the excellent facilities and the small touches that make a visit here so special.  It is a wonderful part of the country to explore, and coming back to a peaceful campsite to watch the sunset at the end of the day makes for a very magical trip.

We are extremely pleased to launch Yurt Yasmin - the newest edition to our glamping collection. Yasmin comes equipped with a wood-burning stove and comfy double bed, as well as a sofa and kitchenette. It is decorated in an ethnic style with kelim rugs and wall hangings. The kitchenette area comes with an electric hob, kettle, fridge, running water and sink, as well as utensils, pots, pans and crockery. It has everything you will need for a relaxing getaway. It doesn't have central heating, but the wood-burning stove will keep you cosy and warm and there is an electric heater should you need it. Yurt Yasmin comes with a sofa too so you can relax with a hot drink by the wood-burner, as well as outside seating and your own fire pit. It's in a great spot by the water and you have your own secluded area of the campsite.

Our Bell Tent Blackcurrant is back up for the Summer. Blackcurrant lives on the far side of the campsite near Yurt Yasmin. Head past the stone circle and over the bridge, you will see Blackcurrant under the poplars to your left. They are attractively furnished with wooden bases, rugs, cushions, sofa, torch and lanterns and each one has a double futon with a memory foam mattress. There is a wood burner for the colder evenings and an electric supply, as well as a fire basket just outside where you can have a bbq or have a fire and gaze at the stars. We supply fresh bedding. You will have use of the heated glamping bathroom. You will have use of the heated glamping bathroom and access to the fridge/freezer outside the camping kitchen.​

Blackcurrant Bell Tent

Hawthorn is situated by the stone circle and near the water. Hawthorne - which has the option of a super king double bed or twin - please specify in notes which are preferred at checkout. They are attractively furnished with wooden bases, rugs, cushions, sofa, torch, lanterns, and each one has a double futon with brand new memory foam mattresses. We also supply 2 of all crockery - knives, fork, plates, bowls, and a frying pan and sauce pan which can be used on the fire. We have installed a wood burner for the colder evenings or we have our handmade fire basket just outside where you can have a bbq or just gaze at the stars. We have also recently had sets of picnic tables made lovingly by our on-site carpenter. We supply fresh bedding. You will have shared use of the heated glamping bathroom for toilet/shower, this is about a 2 min walk.

Spend a night in our wonderful large 16ft (5m) Yurt, with a double bed, and wood burning stove. The yurt is simply and attractively furnished. The yurt has a double bed and futon setup as a chair. The Yurt also has a private en-suite for your private use. The new en-suite is fitted with a hot shower, flush loo and sink and is right next to the Yurt! Inside Yurt Yami we have a wood burning stove, a beautiful Indian wall hanging, kelim rug and bedside tables. There is a sink with hot running water, a kettle and basic kitchen equipment. It has a 2 ring electric hob and a small fridge. It is insulated and has central heating and electricity so is as cosy in winter as in summer. The Yurt has it's own private fire basket with a grill. Outside there is a small decking area with bistro table and chairs. You will be located close by to the campsite facilities, including the kitchen which is equipped with pans, crockery and utensils, loos and showers. We provide fresh bedding.​The Yurt pricing is for 2 people. The Yurt has a double bed and one futon bed which is generally used as a chair but can be arranged into a single bed upon request.

Airstream Ana is situated in a quiet corner of our peaceful campsite. It has been totally rebuilt and refurbished and has everything you need for a romantic getaway, a relaxing weekend with friends or just some time alone. It is cosy in Winter too as it has both central heating and a wood burner.​ The 1960’s Silver Bullet is 6.2m long and 2.2m wide. It is self-contained with a sink (hot and cold running water) gas oven and hob, under counter fridge and pots, pans, crockery, utensils and cutlery. There is a flush loo, shower and basin with hot and cold running water. It is a short walk away from the camping kitchen, and glamping bathroom and situated perfectly to watch the sunset at the table outside. It has a double bed shut off by a thick curtain and the other end there is a cosy seating area with dining table and woodburner which can be made into another double bed. There is a chest of drawers and a wardrobe. Outside there is a table and benches and a firepit where you can sit and take in the beautiful views across the valley and hear the sounds of nature. We provide fresh linen for the bed.

Yurt Yara is the newest addition to our Glamping range and our third Yurt. We think this one will be loved by all. Yara is the biggest of our 3 Yurts and is 17ft wide and comes with a king size bed. It is right on the moat with decking just outside the door so you can sit by the moat and watch the world go by. We have fitted a mini kitchen with a gas stove, sink with hot and cold water, a fridge with small freezer compartment and the necessary utensils to cook your own food. There is a table and 2 chairs for you to sit inside the Yurt too. The hand made king size bed comes with a brand new memory foam mattress. You can light a fire in the wood-burning stove to keep you warm and cosy on a colder evening, there is also a wicker sofa at the end of the bed to sit and enjoy the warmth of the fire. Come and have a magical weekend with us at Cotswolds Camping! We also sell bags of logs if you would like us to supply them, alternatively you are welcome to bring your own. Logs can be purchased from the campsite shop online or bring cash and pay into our honesty box. Yurt Yara currently has access to our heated glamping bathroom behind the cafe, this is shared with other glampers who do not have an en-suite. Although Yara is probably our nicest Yurt, it is about a 2/3 minute walk to the bathroom and this is reflected in it being a lower priced glamping option.

Our Little Dutch is the newest addition to our Glamping range. It started life as a wendy house but has been renovated and extended into a beautiful rustic mini barn with a wood-burning stove, electricity, mini kitchen and seating. Now featuring a private bathroom for Little Dutch guests sole use, with hot shower, toilet and sink. We have fitted a mini kitchen with a gas stove, along with a fridge and the necessary utensils to cook your own food. The double bed comes with a brand new memory foam mattress. You can light a fire in the wood-burning stove to keep you warm and cosy on a colder evening and failing that we have also included an oil heater if you need it (although we're sure the wood-burning stove will be enough) We also sell bags of logs if you would like us to supply them, alternatively you are welcome to bring your own. Logs can be purchased from the campsite shop or bring cash and pay into our honesty box.

Little Dutch


Positioned in its own secluded corner of the quiet and pretty camping field, you can either sit outside watching nature go by, enjoying your own private handmade fire pit, or light the wood burner and get cosy in the caravan.​ The pull out bed is a little smaller than a normal double so we recommend this to couples who don’t mind snuggling up together, or to people on their own. The measurements of the bed are 6ft1 long and 4ft wide. A little step is provided for getting into the bed and a certain degree of agility is necessary. There is power if you should want it and a lamp. The camping kitchen is closed and is now a small takeaway café, but we have added a small kitchen unit outside the Gypsy for your sole use with utensils, gas stove (gas provided), cutlery, etc. There is an electric kettle in the Gypsy you can use, as well as a cold drinking water tap. There is a private firepit just outside the Gypsy and a table and chairs for you to enjoy eating on or simply taking in the lovely surroundings. We supply fresh bedding.

Monks Barn Farm is on a small working farm and accessed by a private tarmac road. It offers beautiful views across the river meadows to the Ilmington Hills and is within easy reach of Stratford, Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Warwick and the Cotswolds and numerous National Trust properties and historical sites and gardens.

Housing ponies, pigs and chickens for that countryside feel, It is the perfect place for families, couples and groups to connect with nature and spend a relaxing camping or cabin break. Off the ground campfires are welcome, with the option to rent a halo grill firepit for cooking- logs and kindling are also available. We're located 30 minutes away from Shakespeare's Stratford and several other popular Cotswold destinations. There are glorious cycling and walking routes within the vicinity and activities such as; bee keeping experiences, candle making, forest bathing and butterfly safaris are regularly held on site- please see the events page on our website for details. 
* Please plan ahead: This is a Site of Special Scientific Interest, home to 2,500 different species of flowers, fungi and fauna. We employ an Eco friendly "leave no trace" ethos so no single-use plastic is to be brought into the woods and guests are asked to take all belongings and litter home with them.
* We do not have electric hook-ups and do not allow caravans, camper-vans or motor-homes on site.
* Unfortunately we have taken the hard decision to no longer allow dogs on site as previous guidelines concerning mess and leashes were not adhered to.
* Please note that there’s no parking next to pitches here- for safety and scenery, but a car park is available.
