Hever Castle & Gardens

Hever Castle and Gardens is an amazing place to visit for a day out with with family. This Kent Castle is a fantastic place to learn about the Tudors and also the Astor family, who bought the Castle in 1903 and made it the opulent place it is today. The interior of the castle has many rooms to admire and the stunning grounds and ornamental gardens make it a great place for horticultural lovers too.

Children will love the playground and the challenge of finding their way through the Water maze and the 100 year old Yew tree maze. There is also an excellent collection of miniature houses and a beautiful lake that you can take boat rides or a leisurely walk around. You can even try your hand at painting a shield or watching a jousting event. Watch out for the ghost of Anne Boleyn!
