We have decided not to open the Campsite or The Flat to visitors at all this season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please get in touch in January 2021 for next years bookings. Keep safe and see you next year.
For visitors who have been before, Mrs Smalley has now officially retired and her daughter-in-law Sandra (or Daisy as she is known to most) has taken over the running of the site with help from the family.
A two acre 12 van grass touring site situated in a sunny secluded part of our lovely working arable and beef farm overlooking the Mill pond and Old Mill buildings.
We are ten minutes drive from Holy Island (Lindisfarne)and many choose us as their base whether they are walking, cycling or driving across to the Island as there is no camping or touring site allowed actually on Holy Island.
The site is all grass. The main area is predominantly level and there is a partly sloping area within the walled garden that accommodates four vans. There are some sites very suitable for motor homes. Tents are taken by arrangement.
The site has electric hook ups for 12. There is a utility block with three w.c.'s. a shower room, a large wet room (both with electric showers), a dishwashing room and an information room. The site and facilities are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness.
There are excellent walks around the farm and surrounding hills. A map of the farm and further details are provided in the information room. Well behaved dogs are welcome. We positively encourage visitors to walk around the farm and enjoy the great views! We are also very happy to answer any questions anyone has about the farm, local history etc.
We have dark skies to be enjoyed and although we are not within walking distance of the nearest pub there are two in Lowick village which is only two miles away.
