We have a number of fantastic camping pods on site! They're perfect for a spot of glamping. Each pod comes with electrical sockets, lighting, blinds for your privacy, decking to sit and enjoy a fire and a beer, an enclosed garden to allow your dogs to room free. Shared facilities and kitchen lean to with communal fridge, oven and microwave. Bedding can be provided for an additional charge.

This lovely romantic retreat is nestled in a spectacular rural position on the world famous Hadrian’s Wall. Relax and enjoy the magnificent views and enjoy the direct walking routes from the property onto Hadrian’s Walk. Located only a short drive from the historic market town of Brampton and within easy reach of the city of Carlisle, with its excellent leisure and shopping facilities. Visit Talkin Tarn Country Park, for water sports such as canoeing and open water swimming. Explore Gelt Woods which is an ancient woodland with the River Gelt running through. Discover the Roman ruins at Housesteads, Birdoswald and Vindolanda. Close to the stunning Northern Lakes, Eden Valley and the rugged Scottish Borders.

Through the enclosed garden, you are met with this delightful lodge pod. Perfect for a luxurious romantic glamping experience. On entering the property you will find the comfortable sleeping area with a double bed to the rear of the pod. The lounge area with TV, is the perfect place to relax after a day out exploring the local area. There is a dining table with seating, ideal for romantic gatherings. The kitchen area is well-equipped with electric single ring hob, fridge/freezer and microwave. Next, through the door you will find the spacious shower room with shower and WC.

Venturing outside is the private decked area with seating where you can enjoy the magnificent countryside views across Hadrian’s Walk or take a relaxing dip in the hot tub. This is a perfect area for al fresco dining or perhaps enjoy a nice glass of wine or a good local ale. You may also get the opportunity to spot the regular visitors including deer, red squirrels, barn owls, hare, rabbits, red kite and lots of garden birds. There is ample off-road parking available for the property.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Headswood Farm has a most enviable position situated directly on Hadrian s Wall and offers four glorious luxury, individually decorated, en-suite micro-lodges that can be booked from as little as a single night. Our newly-built micro lodges are fully kitted-out, insulated and heated pods with en-suite shower rooms and mini kitchens, Freeview TV and free WiFi. Each is designed to sleep two people plus one dog. Headswood Farm, built in the 1700 s, actually straddles part of Hadrian s Wall (between miles 56 and 57), in a rural location, about 12 miles east of Carlisle and is a great place to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

All of our pitches offer a waterside camping experience with the tranquil sound of the Croglin beck running past. It is the perfect environment to relax and unwind. 

Large spacious pitches, each with its picnic bench and fire pit mean that you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. 

Each camping pitch comes with your fire pit, great for those summer night BBQs.

If you would like to try some of our pasture-fed meat on your BBQ, orders can be placed and collected from our Farm shop. Firewood and other essentials are available to buy too.

'The Old Cow Shed'

Our facilities are located in 'The Old Cow Shed', just a short walk from the main camping area.

In the shed, you will find:

- toilets
- showers
- washing machine
- fridge freezer
- kettle and toaster
- pool table and tennis table

Big Bertha is a 1973 Airstream land yacht. She has been stylishly renovated to create a unique space with all the comforts of home.

Sleeping 6 people, Big Bertha has everything you need for a luxury stay - a bathroom with a shower and toilet, a well-equipped kitchen, including an oven and fridge freezer.

Outside the airstream overlooking the Croglin Beck, there is a beautiful decking area. This is the perfect place to relax on a summers night by the fire pit.

High Hall Campsite is located on our family farm in the Eden Valley, Cumbria.
We are surrounded by the beautiful North Pennine fells with amazing views across the Valley to the Lake District National Park.
Our pitches are situated between our wildlife pond and the Croglin beck that meanders its way through the farm. Here at High Hall, you can always guarantee a waterside stay.

Between Easter and end of September (weather permitting) we have a stunning Safari style tent. If you are looking for a unique and beautiful get away our tent is perfect for you. We can offer you camping but with the luxury of a comfortable double bed with bedding to relax in after a day exploring all the stunning Western Lakes has to offer. Step outside onto your own private decking for panoramic views of our local fells and straight towards Skiddaw. Inside the tent is a very comfortable double bed with bedding, bedside cabinet, Ratan rug on the floor, lighting from fairy lights on the ceiling and a bedside lamp, there is a toaster, kettle, 2x plates, bowls, mugs, cuttlery and a electric point. The tent is set up for upto 2 people sharing a double bed, there is room for a put up bed or travel cot to accommodate children, please get in touch with your requirements and I will be happy to help. Outside to enjoy the beautiful scenery is a table & chairs and chiminea.

A warm welcome to our quality farm cottages!

Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life by staying on our family-run working farm, located in the rolling countryside of the Derwent Valley. All our cottages have outstanding views of the surrounding hills and countryside, and provide everything you require for a relaxing holiday.

Alongside our beautiful cottages we also offer a variety of camping experiences, we have a Camping and Caravanning club certificated site with 5 hardstanding pitches and camping pod which are open all year round, between Easter and end of September (weather permitting) we also offer 10 grass tent pitches, a Belle Tent and Safari tent. All of these use our purpose built toilet block and laundry facilities, fully under floor heated.

We pride ourselves on being child-friendly, pet-friendly and environment-friendly. We are lucky enough to have a natural tarn on our land that is a magnet for wildlife. From our specially built hide, you can spot nesting swans, geese, ducks and even the occasional otter. Barn owls roost in the eaves of one of the cottages and we regularly see red squirrels feeding in the grounds.

Beckhead Cottage offers the ultimate country living experience. Set in a delightful location in the diverse region that is Dumfries and Galloway surrounded by trees, enclosing two lovely  secluded gardens. From here you can watch the many farmland birds and enjoy nature at its best. Bubbling by is the Beckhead “burn”, were there may be the chance to see the occasional otter. Sitting in the garden, all you will hear is birdsongs, farm animals and the bubbling burn.

Inside, this traditional farm cottage has been transformed into a stylish, country themed living space with a unique character.

The two delightful en suite bedrooms are designed for comfort, both bathrooms are equipped with power rain head showers. We provide soft, fresh towels and toiletries for your comfort.

Beckhead Cottage has an open plan kitchen and dining room where the family can socialise and enjoy cooking and eating together. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and microwave for your convenience.
The sitting room has a lovely open fire where you can enjoy the heat from home grown timber.      Large comfy sofas to curl up in to watch TV or the live stream wildlife camera where badgers and  foxes are regular visitors.

A raised badger hide has been built opposite the cottage where guest at Beckhead can sit and watch the badgers.

Grey Craig Cottage is set on the edge of Williamwood Farm, from where it looks over to the loch, as well as the conservation and wildlife area. A popular get away for couples, the cottage offers comfort in a country style stay. Oak floors through out. A patio is just though the floor to ceiling glass doors leading to a hot tub and secluded garden . The sitting room features floor to ceiling patio doors, which allow you to observe the daily routines of farm life and wildlife in their natural habitat. From here you can see the cattle grazing over the fence, while relaxing on a comfortable sofa in front of a log burning stove. The sitting room also has a television with DVD player and live feed wildlife cam, streaming all the action from the feeding station into your living room. Badgers, foxes and lots of birds are regular visitors. The kitchen is well appointed with all modern conveniences.

The master bedroom has a king size bed, and the single room can be made into a twin room with the addition of a put up bed which is idea for children.

The family bathroom features a walk in power shower and a double ended bath and we provide soft, fluffy towels and toiletries for your comfort.

The campsite is open all year round, with peak seasons starting in line with the school summer holidays.

The centre is designed for the tiniest tots (0-5). Surrounded by colourful designs, featuring the pets on Noah's ark, the youngsters may have the chance to play, explore and learn about the most famous tales through the Bible at that time that is same. Set a playdate up together with your child's best friends and catch up with the other parents during the Rainbow Cafe even though the little ones play. You can see just what your tots are doing the time that is whole to help you relax and flake out with a cup of tea and a piece of homemade cake. It's time for a break that is well-deserved!

Magic Castle Softplay offers your small princes and princesses (along with your jesters and villains too!) on a daily basis of imaginative exercise and entertainment inside their medievally themed multi-level madhouse!Climb the castle that is padded, sneak through the squashy corridors evading the knightly murals  if your plans for a coup get scuppered you are able to flee the castle down the slide into the ball moat! Awesome stuff.There is needless to say a bijou castlette for the mini monarchs, with smaller versions of this fun that is big some knightly nonsense just for them. It is all made to be soft and sensory, plus developmentally useful where possible.The Magic Castle also offers fully personal, partially private and house that is open celebration options, so whatever sort of 'do' you intend to do, you certainly can do it right here!For a pleasant change the children are given in the middle and allowed back onto the play framework after, so that they'll definitely be delighted but possibly don't let them overeat! Particularly perhaps not when you're able to have the extra celebration bags for afterward with 2 toys, Magic Castle balloon, a pleasant chocolate bar and a lolly that is gluey. Huzzah!
