Firemore Beach The beach is aptly named because it provides regularly the swimming that is warmest the west coastline of Scotland. The wide, reddish sandy beach is in the shore of a sea loch opposite the tiny Isle of Ewe near the River Ewe, well-known for salmon fishing, and warmed by the Gulf Stream. Glass bottomed ship trips can be obtained across the loch and there is exceptional fishing to be enjoyed. You could also look at the sub-tropical gardens at Inverewe which are full of excitingly flowers that are exotic. Immediate facilities consist of toilets and a cafe.
