It is difficult to overstate just how pretty Strathtay and Glen Lyon are and this thatched cottage is one of several holiday that is such in the highland area of Perthshire- a rarity in Scotland. The stunning village of Fortingall aided by the yew that is oldest Tree and charming thatched houses is nearby and a trip towards the resort there is certainly well worth the time and effort. In the vacation cottage is compact, but deceptively spacious, and has been lovingly modernised but retains much of its quirky features which are original as tongue and groove cladding on walls, sweet windows set low into the thatch, and slate floors. There is home that is fully modernised a charming conservatory off it and use of the completely enclosed yard. The two rooms which are public younger family member to look at television and play games whilst grownups can enjoy the peace of this living area. This area has much related to Lochs Tay and Tummel nearby, the river Tay for fishing, great wildlife all around and extreme sports available locally. The city that is of interest of has great shops and restaurants and it is nearby. Kenmore is an area that is lovely good restaurants, the intimate Taymouth Castle having its greens that will be ready to accept the general public. Additionally there is a Crannog in Loch Tay that will be a place that is fascinating check out and realize the annals. Make sure to explore Glenlyon - it is a great and small area that is well known fantastic scenery, wonderful wildlife and even the opportunity of seeing an eagle.
