Following our success in 2020 with our luxury mobile glamping services, we are so happy to be adding to our brand with our luxury Glamping site in South Norfolk.
Our aim is to continue the high standards, luxury experience and bespoke finishing touches which we have become known for and, our clients, rightly expect from us.

Our site is set on a beautiful and bustling working farm in Great Ellingham on Watton Road which services farm and other traffic at various times of the day. Due to our location guests should expect that there will be a certain amount of activity around the site which can generate some noise but we hope this doesn’t impact on your enjoyment.

Our site has five luxury heated bell tent pitches, complete with an optional private wood fired hot tubs, allowing all our guests as much privacy as possible. Our aim is to give each and every guest a unique experience and we hope that our additional options will help us tailor each stay to your personal requirements. We are hoping to encourage those who have never spent a night under canvas to ‘give it try’ and hopefully be pleasantly surprised!

Oak tent

For those of you that have your own equipment, we have seven oversize camping pitches spread around the meadow. They are mown into the meadow grass, each one atleast 14 metres diameter with a minimum of 10 metres between pitches. Each pitch has its own clean compost toilet, firepit and campgrill. There are hot showers available nearby.

Driftways Glamping & Camping is set in a picturesque 4.5 acre meadow in beautiful South Norfolk. It’s a small family site run by Vanessa and Andrew and their two small children.

The site offers an off-grid glamping and camping experience allowing guests to switch off, unplug and enjoy some downtime. It can also serve as a central base allowing you to discover the delights that Norfolk and Suffolk have to offer.

Driftways features five luxurious bell tents and seven camping pitches and is surrounded by farmland. With just twelve pitches, we recommend checking availability and booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Each pitch has its own clean compost toilet and camp fire area, with glamping pitches also featuring a fully equipped gas-fired kitchenette and picnic bench.  Access to gas/solar-powered showers is available for all guests.

Our fully fenced meadow, under the gaze of our stunning walnut tree, is a perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. Bring your own tent to pitch up yourself, or we can source a bell tent for you to hire, ready and waiting for your arrival.

You'll have Pygmy goats and sheep as neighbours and access to all the facilities of our canine business hub, (as well as the human creature comforts of a hot shower, washing up area and indoor WC as well as two flushing toilets on the campsite itself).

Just one mile from the market town of Wymondham and its fascinating heritage, shops and pubs, and easy access to the rest our wonderful county has to offer from beaches to forests.

Norfolk Tank Museum offers you the opportunity to explore tanks and cars which are military as well as in! You can climb up aboard and also experience what it is like in as you operate a number of the controls! Included in the collection are Chieftain and Centurion tanks, plus trucks being amphibious scout cars. REOPENING SOON! SUNDAY 12th JULY! We are very pleased to announce that the Norfolk Tank Museum will be reopening, under social distancing guidelines, from Sunday 12th July 2020, 10-5. We will be opening two days a week, Sundays and Tuesdays, and hope to gradually return to normal opening hours as the COVID-19 crisis eases and volunteers have more availability. Unfortunately in the short term we will not be able to offer Vehicle rides or allow people inside the vehicles. Hopefully these restrictions will be lifted in the near future.
