This holiday gem is located in a private and hidden valley. It's a beautiful and peaceful setting, far away from the noise of traffic and the stress of city life - one of Wales's true secret escapes. Our self-catering Shepherds Huts, Yurts and Holiday Cottages are located in Powys which is just five minutes from the Shropshire border. We are surrounded by the border towns of Knighton, Newtown, Presteigne, Ludlow, Leominster and Hay-on-Wye and are only a short drive to Powis Castle. We are also near the beautiful dams of Elan Valley. Which makes us a great base to explore this diverse and flourishing region. We are lucky to be in an unspoilt and little-visited tourist destination that is off the beaten track. There is a great folk and country music scene locally and lots to do and explore along the Welsh and Shropshire borders and beyond. The coastal towns of Aberystwyth, Aberdyfi, Borth, Ynyslas, with their stunning beaches can be reached within 1 hour 20 minutes. Snowdonia National Park is only 2 hours away
