Recorded as a woodland for at least 900 years, the Parndon Wood Nature Reserve is a haven for flora, fungi, wild birds, minibeasts, small animals and deer. Visitors can stick to the path that is guided the timber or just benefit from the environments. There are observation hides to stay quietly and watch for deer, or birds establishing down by the ponds. The timber offers a conservation that is fully accessible, a laboratory, informative displays and a reference collection for those who wish to know more.
