The village of Hope is a short distance away from Oaker Farm Cottages and offers a wide range of amenities – deli, Spar open until 10pm, Indian restaurant and takeaway, butchers with a wide range of local produce, as well as a bus stop, train station and vibrant Sheffield is only 30 minutes drive away.

Fired Arts is a household friendly crafts which can be hands-on where you come and obtain your art in! You can stamp, stencil, decopatch and paint to your hearts' content and create a masterpiece along with tools and materials provided plus books high in some ideas and staff that is helpful you feel a bit too spoilt for choice and in need of support. They also operate great courses for crafty people including silk artwork, batik, mosaics and felting. It certainly is better to book at weekends, school breaks and in direction of xmas as naturally these right times can be quite busy.
