Beacon House Campsite Certificated Site

Beacon House Camping & Caravanning Site is situated on the edge of Flamborough village. This ADULTS ONLY site features hardstanding pitches with electric hook ups and grass tent pitches. There is a washroom with one toilet, shower and handbasin. Tourist information is available. The village centre is only 1 mile away. There are pubs, cafes, local shops and a supermarket. Directly across the road is Danes Dyke Nature Reserve with a sandy beach. Flamborough also has several other beaches. There is easy access to the clifftop footpath to Flamborough Head and the famous lighthouse. The RSPB Bempton Cliffs bird reserve is 4 miles away. Gannets, puffins and other wildlife can be seen from here. There is a bus service outside the site to Bridlington, 4 miles drive or a pleasant walk along the cliffs. Bridlington features a picturesque harbour with boat and fishing trips. There are 2 promenades with large sandy beaches. Also in Bridlington is the Spa Theatre, Sewerby Hall & Gardens and the new leisure centre. Further afield are the resorts of Filey (12 miles), Scarborough (16 miles), Whitby (36 miles) and the historic city of York (40 miles). A warm Yorkshire welcome awaits you at Beacon House. This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operate under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.

Whilst the majority of Certificated Sites do permit children, please be aware that this site has chosen to be Adults Only.
