Adult Beginner / Improver Surf Lesson 14:00-16:00 £30.00 Our beginner / improver lessons are a great way to progress from a total beginner to an intermediate surfer. Lessons last 2 hours and include all equipment. During these lessons you will be taught water safety, how to stand up and when you are ready, how to turn / manoeuvre the board. Ages 16+

Private Group Lessons Private group lessons are an ideal way for you and your group to have an exclusive lesson with our instructor(s). These lessons are ideal for families, small groups of friends, birthday parties and stag/hen dos. Price depends on the number of people participating.

Kids Club Sessions We run a kids surf club, suitable for 6-16 year olds every Saturday and Sunday morning from 10-11.30am with extra sessions available subject to demand. The club is also on every day during May half-term and during the summer holidays. Price £20 (including all equipment and wetsuits)

It is a great fun way for kids to learn to surf, improve their surfing and learn all about safety while in the sea. This includes how to avoid rip tides, where not to surf and much more.

Stand Up Paddleboarding Lessons

We offer group, 1-1 and private group SUP lessons when the conditions are calm and safe to do so. As it is only possible to get accurate forecast a week in advance, we tend to run these on a 'pop up' basis. Bookings will become available when conditions are right!

Surf Hire At Tynemouth Surf Co we hire a wide range of surfboards including foamies, minimals, shortboards and longboards. We also hire Stand Up Paddleboards, wetsuits (including boots, gloves and hoods) and bodyboards. If you are looking to hire quality equipment and progress your surfing then Tynemouth Surf Co is the place to be. Equipment hire is available from our surf shop and down at our beach beach hut. We have newly refurbished changing rooms in our beach hut!
