Fox Wood is a dog friendly campsite with 2 dog friendly pubs on our door and within 10 minutes of dog friendly beaches.

We have amazing boy's and girl's toilets which can be found in a purpose built modern block, where we also have powerful camp showers and good washing up facilities.

Marina Vista - Luxury Seafront Apartments

The Skoolie Stays bus has been carefully designed to balance luxury, freedom and environmental impact. This is not your average ‘back-to-basics’ camping holiday, far from it! 
The bus interior has been lovingly hand-built using pine, recycled American oak, and recovered teak. We’ve added our own design features, blending the earthy tones of the engineered oak herringbone flooring with the copper shine of the painstakingly assembled ‘penny-table’ epoxy resin countertop. We’ve recycled and repurposed where we can, using parts of the original bus to link to its history and give them new life.  

 

We have worked hard to transform this space in the most sensitive way we can, choosing materials that are environmentally-friendly. It’s fully insulated with sheep’s wool, incorporates water-saving technology and runs off of solar panels. 

 

A tiny-home it may be, but cramped it is not. American buses come in many different shapes and sizes and we chose this particular bus for conversion because it offered increased height inside and would allow us to maximise living space. The result is spacious accommodation that blends old and new, natural materials and modern technology and the best of American and British.

 

What you get:

Master bedroom with a king-sized bed (sleeps 2) with storage for bags and wraparound windows. 

43 square foot Sun Deck raised above the fields – perfect for morning coffees and late nights stargazing.

‘Murphy’ style fold away bunk-beds (sleeps 2 children or adults up to 6ft), cleverly-designed to fold-up during the day.  

Full kitchen with a double burner gas-stove top, fridge, large sink and plenty of storage and surface space. 

‘American diner’ eating area, made from the original recycled bus-seats and a vintage teak school table. 

Bathroom with fully tiled shower and a top-of-the-range composting toilet (no smells and no wasted water, helping you reduce the impact of your weekend away on the natural environment).  

Cosy lounge with a clean-burning log stove and a comfy leather sofa.
Plenty of USB electrical points – we have 2400W of solar power (plenty to charge your gadgets).
Super-cool driver’s cab area with all the original buttons and levers.
A cosy rural hideaway for all seasons and all weathers.

The Billabong is a large self contained group camping yard with 17 pitches, a camp kitchen, gas heated shower, portable toilets, a large fire pit area and plenty of parking. The yard can also be locked and secure if you are out for the day. It is great for large family groups, parties, scouting, D of E groups with a minimum of 20 people. MINIMUM STAY 2 nights. Please call before booking Prices are 20-24 persons £25 per person per night. 25-50 persons £600 total per night ( a reduced rate will be available for children under 16 if booking with the per person per night). The Billabong - Group Camping 20+ people

- Choose from 6 exclusive group pitches: Robin Wood, The Warren, The Den & Jay Woods 1,2 & 3. Will accommodate 3/4 small/medium size tents. 
- Pitch water tap. 
- Communal space in the middle containing - table & fire pit.
- Each pitch comes with a private pitch loo. 
- Parking space for 3 cars, not suitable for large vehicles. (Larger parking space is available but not next to pitch if necessary).
- Friendly dogs are welcome at the campsite but must be kept on leads.

Group Pitch 3-4 tents

- Suitable for Caravan/Motor home/Tent/Camper.
- For 2 adults 2 children under 16.
- Cosy grass area for 1 unit. 
- Drinking water tap per pitch to ensure yours and our safety.
- With this pitch it is essential to BYO toilet facilities or book a pitch loo. (Only available until 23 Sept.)

High Salvington Windmill is an extensively restored windmill that is working which dates from approximately 1750. It offers an excellent opportunity for young ones to get an insight to the past and find out about old machinery and history that is neighborhood. The windmill is staffed by a keen team of volunteers who'll be just too thrilled to answer any questions the children have actually about how it really works or the annals of this place.We recommend you'll be able to to get inside which you check online to ensure once the mill is open as this means. The windmill is a really interesting museum that is working which nevertheless offers the flour that it produces. Children may also have the chance to discover the annals associated with restoration procedure for the windmill that allowed it to finally reopen in 1991 so you need to rise stairs to reach the utmost effective flooring of the mill, so it might not be ideal for children plus pushchairs and wheelchairs that one may explore it today!Please take note.
