Victoria Park was exposed to mark Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1899 but still fills an area that is delighted the hearts of the community not least because there are many adventure play areas, a summer paddling pool, loads of space and 10 all weather courts for tennis, bowls and cricket! The flat surfaced stroll that is circular is exactly half a mile long rendering it very easy to keep track if you as well as the children are running or biking or for marking your progress if boarding or skating, plus there is a riverside walk to savor too which goes downstream to Warwick or upstream to the town centre and Newbold Comyn. Picnicking and ball games are permitted though try to not do usually the one where individuals are doing the other, and the Pavilion that is regular Cafe inside and outside sitting for the snack and caffeine end! Many Augusts they host the National Bowls Championship, plus Local, County and Regional bowls tournaments within the interrim and spectators are welcome at most of these while you guys hit the playground for a few slightly more rambunctious fun!
