Hells Mouth Beach, or Porth Neigwl, draws tens of thousands of surfers each year, and is particularly a spot that is popular families. It sits between your headlands of Mynydd Cilan and Mynydd Penarfynydd, near to the tip associated with the peninsula, with a lovely 4 mile stretch of unbroken shoreline. It lives as much as its name whenever surf is up, but in better weather, it's a perfect crescent of sand and clear blue ocean that is good for a traditional outing during the beach. The coastline is mainly sand, with a few medium and large pebbles, backed by sand dunes and cliffs, which makes it outstanding spot for a stroll, or simply to lay back and flake out.Hell's Mouth seldom becomes crowded due to its size, you do need to be a solid swimmer to savor water right here, making it great for surfing, yet not for inexperienced swimmers though it does get pretty busy during the Wakeboard event in July.
