Newcastle Climbing Centre operating out of the glorious former church of St Marks, the handsome building that is listed provides a magnificent climbing environment that welcomes families with a whopping inside height of 15m and over 1200sqm of climbing walls for roped climbing, lead wall and all sorts of types of bouldering. Whatever your standard of climbing from complete novice to hardened expert there are features and challenges to fit your ability along with your aspiration! Kids aged 5 and upwards may climb during the Centre beneath the direction of a adult climber that is registered. You could join their Junior Rock Club underneath the direction of friendly, qualified staff if you are aged between 7 and 14 years. Kiddies under 14 should be followed by an adult. They also provide Taster sessions for Juniors under 16 years old it a chance with investing in costly gear or training packages for them to come and provide. And you may rise unsupervised during the Centre with parental consent and after passing an assessment if you're between 14 and 17 yrs . old.
