**Weekends are min 3 nights stay** Wheatfields Glamping has two luxury Safari stryle tents/lodges generously spaced apart. Skylark is the larger of the two tents also sleeping 8 people but with more living and deck space and glass bi-fold doors. The main difference is an extra bedroom with a king sized bed which can be split into two twin beds on request. Skylark also has a larger wheelchair accessible bathroom with walk in shower. The kitchen and living area has a great bar with stools, large round table seating eight and comfy sofa area in front of the woodturning stove. Skylark sleeps up to 8 people in four separate bed rooms: * The Master main has a king-sized four-poster bed. * The Cabin has a double bed and is accessed by a ladder. * The Bunk room has one adult strong bunk beds sleeping 2. * The twin room beds can be joined together to make a king. * Travel cot available free of charge. * The site is in a secluded but not remote spot along a farm track. It is off grid, we use solar and 12v batteries to power lights in all the rooms, a USB port and the fridges. Outside lights are kept to a minimum to preserve the special “Dark Sky” all the better to enjoy stargazing. Please bring power banks or charge your devices in your car as a backup. Candles are not allowed inside the tent due to fire risk, but can be used outside on the decking areas. We use gas for the showers, fridges and kitchen hobs. **Bedroom** Our beds have very comfortable new mattresses, duvets and extra blankets and hot water bottles if required. Beds are made up upon arrival with our luxurous stone-washed natural bed linen with its contempory natural crumpled look. Its made from re-newable flax & boasts anti-allergic properties. **Kitchen** The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, standard kichen utensils and cooking pots & pans, kettle & coffee maker, fridge and a two ringed gas hob. We supply coffee, tea, sugar and other basic condiments. Fresh milk can be found in the fridge. **Shower room** The shower room sits on the back deck and is accessible for wheelchair users with walk in hot shower, raised flushing toilet. Towels are provided for each person staying. Complimentary products from local business Wideye who create their own natural skin and bodycare products. We support Wideye’s policy not to use single use plastics and so their products are supplied in refillable glass bottles and soap bars.

Wheatfields offers two unique luxury safari lodges set in a stunning location on the edge of Romney Marsh, close to the historic town of Rye. Offering spacious, en-suite Safari tents that can sleep up to eight people, perfect for families and groups of friends, and the dog who want to spend a special time together enjoying the big outdoors.
The tents are nestled around a pond on our family run 500 acre working arable farm on the edge of Romney Marsh in the Rother Valley. Large deck areas front and back offer alternative sitting options to enjoy the different views across the marsh or towards the stunning ancient cliff of the Isle of Oxney.
Stonewashed luxury bed linen is supplied on the double beds with lovely cotton linen for the twins and bunks Towels are also supplied. The tents have their own bathrooms with a hot showers, basin and flushing toilet. Complimentary toiletries are supplied by local business The kitchens are fully equiped and have have gas hob, fridge and all the basic essentials; tea, coffee, milk and cooking seasonings ec. The living areas have large tables for everyone and comfy sofas to relax in front of the log burner complete with small oven. To retain the amazing “Dark Sky” there are no outdoor lights used at Wheatfields. If you love star-gazing this is the place to be. Wheatfields is off-grid with solar lighting & limited USB charging, please bring your own back-up power packs and car chargers.
Skylark is the larger of the tents with three double bedrooms (one can be either a king double of twins). The Bell Tent next to Sandpiper is included in its price and is only available to sandpiper guests. This acts as the third double bedroom.
