Portstewart Strand

Blue Flag Awarded Downhill Beach stretch that is 11km of sand and surf offering quite a lot of tasks including water recreations, scenic walks and tourist kind facilities. It's on the North Coast Sea Kayak Trail and you get into the other action with the TK SurfSchool. Downhill Beach is patrolled, in period, by RNLI lifeguards. Naturally you will need to pre arrange classes or employ equipment with all the surf school, however the kayak trail is available to kayak that is competent so if you're all vested up and know very well what you're doing final one in is a rotten egg! Downhill Beach

Barrys Amusements, Portrush, offers out of doors but largely under address enjoyable with choices ranged over the board, which means you should find one thing to amuse everybody else, whatever what their age is! You will find 6 rides targeted at younger children including a miniature caterpillar train, wet roller coaster and helter skelter slide that is towering. Another 8 rides are available for older children (which means you, too!). SUP Lessons & Experiences
THERE IS A REASON WHY STAND UP PADDLE BOARDING (SUP) IS ONE OF THE FASTEST GROWING WATER SPORTS ON THE PLANET
We offer both 2 Hour SUP Lessons daily from Portrush Yacht Club within the safety of Portrush Harbour, and also extended special SUP Experiences of the local coastal area (see below).

Very easy to learn, very relaxing, and a really good full body and core work out.

SUP Experience
THIS IS OUR MOST FAMOUS STAND UP PADDLE EXPERIENCE.
Once you have mastered the basics in the harbour we then take you around to the beach where we casually paddle along the shores crystal clear waters along West Bay taking in the sounds and sights of #Portmagic.

Once we reach the end of the beach we then take you into the hidden caves at the far end of West Bay. Not many people even know they exist!

It's just you, your instructor, and the water... Well, apart from the dolphins of course. We then make the scenic paddle back across West Bay back into the harbour.

We would recommend booking one of our Sunset SUP Sessions for this special experience.

Recently awarded with all the prestigious 2013 Blue Flag Award, Portrush Whiterocks Beach is becoming a favourite with locals and a necessity see location for International visitors.The limestone cliffs associated with White Rocks stretch from Curran Strand to Dunluce Castle. You can simply take a boat journey into these soft, sedimentary rocks have been carved through hundreds of years into a labyrinth of caves and arches. Shelagh's Head, the Wishing Arch, Elephant Rock plus the Lion's Paw are headlands of distinguishable forms which rise from the ocean.On the coastline that is main, you will discover pull in areas and a big carpark where you are able to consume the incredible views associated with headlands towards the Giant's Causeway and back once again to Portrush and Donegal.
