Previous generations grew seasonal fruits and vegetables here on the sandy, fertile and very well draining land. They were harvested and sold at Wolverhampton Wholesale Market to Greengrocers and Farm Shops across the Black Country and Worcestershire.

**The Old Bush** sits just outside the idyllic village of **Callow End** in the **Malvern Hills** district of **Worcestershire**; a traditional and quintessentially English pub with a lovely campsite in the gardens behind it.  The pub serves a variety of homemade favourites along with local beers and ciders and a pudding menu so tempting you’ll be very pleased that you only have a few feet to stagger back to your bed for the night!  It has a large outdoor patio, a children’s play area and a very pretty garden with beautiful views over the Malvern Hills.

The campsite itself has a **touring area for tents, caravans** and **motorhomes** and good facilities including electric hook ups if you need it, showers and toilets, drinking water taps and chemical waste disposal.  The Old Bush also has a separate **glamping** section, housing several pretty wooden pods which have everything you need for a mini break including a bed, TV, kettle, crockery and a private outdoor seating area.
Matt and Karen have run this lovely family friendly place since 2015 and have firmly become a thriving part of the community in Callow End.  When the pandemic of 2020 hit and the pub was forced to close, the brilliant team at The Old Bush decided to make the best of what they had, and that turned out to be quite an inspiring project.  Instead of stocking beers and soft drinks behind the bar, they instead filled the shelves with groceries and essentials, and became a liferaft for those struggling with supermarket shopping.  Chef Karen cooked takeaway meals for those who could collect, and right from the start, deliveries of groceries to the old and vulnerable in the area were made top priority.  This awesome triumph over adversity has stayed - thankfully - firmly in place, and the **deli** (which it is now called) has a permanent home selling a wide variety of produce.  There is also now a **cafe** too, where locals, as well as campers, can come to have a cuppa and a slice of homemade cake.  There is even a pizza takeaway service at weekends.  So a stay at The Old Bush means no staggering off to the supermarket and no cooking if you don’t want to.  A proper break!

Many people visit The Old Bush for the brilliant location.  Just 20 minutes in the car is the glorious **Malvern Hills** - an **Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty** -  a unique landscape full of exhilarating hill climbs, gentle walks and colourful wildflower meadows.  It is also a great place for mountain biking or road cycling, and horse riders have right of access over the Hills and Commons.  Aside from the beautiful walks and stunning views, there are many picturesque towns and villages to explore including the Victorian spa town of **Malvern** itself, the ancient market town **Tenbury Wells** and the historic riverside town of **Upton upon Severn**.

The Old Bush is in an enviable location to appreciate all that this lovely part of the country has to offer.  And there is no easier place to come back to in the evening, where you can settle down, enjoy a delicious home cooked meal and a short stroll back to bed.  A lovely little gem of a place with a great story.

Designed for our unpredictable weather. A 6 Metre tent for sleeping a Rainbow Bell tent/tipi  Sewn in groundsheet for warmth and a cosy sleeping area with zipped doorway.
Inside you will find: Rugs, cushions, throws, storage shelves.
The Beds :-  Single or double/ KS beds with good mattresses and a base sheet. (Anti allergy pillows provided with a pillowcase). Solar lights outside with deck tile and gravel entrances to tents.
Each camp is bespoke we put up and take down the tents as required so you can specify your bed arrangements single or doubles.
The Lounge - With sofas, coffee table, rugs and throws and electric lighting. Games cupboard and books for all ages. An area for relaxing after a day out or place to shelter if the weather is unkind.

Bell Tents

We offer bespoke planning for groups, Hen parties, families and corporate events. We can arrange tents to your specifications and add facilities to suit your requirements with a reasonable additional charge for large scale changes. Our Max numbers for 2021 is 24 people.
Each group booking has tents 6m diameter and comes with a kitchen, lounge tent and dining room.

2.5 miles to Bewdley and the Safari Park and only a 10 min walk to the Severn Valley Railway and the River Severn

Our 2 gorgeous five metre 'fully furnished' Bell Tents - Bell Tent Boutique - 5m 360gsm Fireproof Pro Bell Tent with stove hole - are set on individual plateaus on the east facing slope of the valley. They are sumptuously furnished with just about everything you’ll need and come complete with their own wood burning stove, fire pit, grill, kettle, and a cooking tripod with a Dutch Oven in which you can cook just about anything from bread to a roast dinner. Each of our furnished bell tents now has it's own kitchen shelter too.

There is a double bed, plus camping beds available upon request for extra guests (but you'll need sleeping bags for these). There is also a double ring gas stove in our new kitchen shelter, plus all the pots, pans, and utensils you’ll need for your stay. Best of all there is a wood burning stove to keep you warm if the evenings or mornings get a bit chilly. We provide an initial ‘fire pack’ comprising of a basket of logs, a bundle of kindling, firelighters and a box of matches. More of all of these can be bought from our honesty shop.

We suggest you bring a torch and a battery powered light for use inside the tent and for those midnight toilet trips, as well as sleeping bags for the kids, wellies, warm clothing, towels, tea towels, dish cloths or sponges, and food.

The Bell Tents are just a stroll from the toilet, shower and washing-up facilities and are just a short walk from the carpark. The site itself is car free and off grid (no power in the tents). 

Wheelbarrows are available to cart your belongings from car to tent.

The site itself is actually an untamed ancient orchard that slopes down to woodland and a stream that marks the boundary of our land. You will be camping amongst the wildflowers and the unusual ‘otherworldly’ ant hills that tell us that this land has been undisturbed for centuries.

The opportunities for wildlife ‘safaris’ are endless, from your run of the mill rabbits and more than our fair share of woodland birds, to badgers, foxes and muntjac deer roaming around your tent at night, to sightings of fallow deer and buzzards, sparrow hawks and the occasional red kite flying overhead.

We allow camp fires, as long as they are off the ground (firepits available on site) and we have nets of logs and kindling for sale at our honesty shop, we also sell (amongst other things) locally produced meat for breakfast and your bbq's, as well as the obligatory marshmallows to toast over the campfire.

Facilities are basic, but comfortable and clean. At the moment we have a couple of composting toilets, a gas shower and a covered washing up area. There is no electricity on the campsite and the lighting in the facilities block is solar powered, so you may need to bring a torch to find your way to the loo at night.

The field is a car free site, which is perfect for families, it’s a short walk from the car park, and you can borrow one of wheel barrows to ferry your gear.

Hidden Valley Camping is a small, family run glamping and camping site located in the beautiful Teme Valley, in a spectacular "you could be anywhere on the planet" setting.
If it's camping under the stars that you're after, then look no further; we boast an enormous dark night sky - forget the stars, you'll be spotting galaxies!

Dawn brings the most amazing spectacle; just as the sun starts to peak through the canvas of your tent, the thousands of birds that you share Hidden Valley with say their good mornings with an incredible dawn chorus - something that must be heard to be believed.

We are keen campers ourselves and we know the importance of having your own space. Theres nothing worse than site owners cramming as many tents into their fields as they can. Hidden Valley is a place of solitude, and with only 2 bell tents and a handful of tent pitches on our site (which is part of an ancient 9 acre orchard), you are guaranteed plenty of space.




Hidden Valley Camping

Non-electric, grass, tent pitch. Each tent pitch shares an adjacent field to Evelyn and Lillian, our Bell Tents. Sharing a free eco-bathroom based in a shepherds hut, these are in a separate field to the 2 glamping fields.

Non-electric grass pitch

One of only 2 delightful Bell tents, sited in their own small field, with their own bathroom and kitchen facilities. This is Lillian, her field is also home to its own bathroom facilities as well as the information pod where you will also find the local produce and dining table and chairs. This field has a more open feel, furthest away from the car park, with established hedge to 3 sides, and a fence to the long side. Lillian is furnished with light pine furniture, solar lights both inside and out give a romantic glow at night with out hiding the starlit sky, The car park is located on the other side of the hedge over a small bridge next to the tents. 

Just a short walk along the hedge row to the second field, a rice horse trailer provides a quirky yet luxury composting toilet, basin and shower.

Lilian Bell Tent

One of only 2 delightful Bell tents, sited in their own small field, with their own bathroom and kitchen facilities. This is Evelyn, her field is next to the car park, a short walk through the hedge to the next field leads to the information pod where you will also find the local produce and dining table and chairs. This field has a more woodland feel, with established hedge to 3 sides, and a fence to the short side. Evelyn is furnished with dark timer furniture, solar lights both inside and out give a romantic glow at night with out hiding the star lite sky, here is a car park located on the other side of the hedge over a small bridge next to the tents.

Each tent is furnished with a comfortable double bed and for children bed rolls can be provided, but you will need to provide your own bedding. There are hot water bottles available to keep you warm on chilly nights. The kitchen pods at each tent contain a gas double burner and there is a barbecue provided. We love where we live and we want to share it.

Evelyn Bell Tent 

Nestled in the gorgeous countryside in **Worcestershire**, on a working farm near Tenbury Wells, leave your stresses at the door and discover this wonderful, **off-grid** camping experience.  **By The Red Phonebox** is - no surprises - by a red phone box (now filled with books), and down this lovely country lane you will find a campsite with a firmly ecological and **low carbon footprint** ethos; a quiet, relaxing and tranquil retreat, perfect for those who just want to get away from it all.  In view of the **Clee Hill** in the village of **Knighton upon Teme**, the scenery and wildlife are diverse and plentiful.  Free range sheep, cattle, pigs, hens and horses roam the fields happily, safely fenced off from all the tents - so no comedy sandwich stealing going on here.

This family friendly site offers only a few **glamping and camping pitches**, so you can be guaranteed a peaceful and uncrowded stay.  Three camping pitches for tents are positioned along the headland of one of the hayfields, a large field with plenty of space and uninterrupted views across the **Worcestershire** countryside.  Here there is a shared **eco bathroom** for campers in a nearby shepherd's hut, complete with composting loos and gas fired showers.  A small shop on site has local produce available to buy.

If you want to go **glamping** instead, there are also two gorgeous 6 metre **bell tents** - Evelyn and Lillian - pitched separately in their own field, divided by a hedgerow and living wall, and offering complete privacy.  Each has its own well equipped outdoor kitchen, bathroom and outdoor area with a bbq and picnic bench seating.  Parking is off the field so it is car free and spacious.  Each tent has a comfy double bed, camp beds for children and its own converted Rice horse trailer as a quirky private bathroom - luxurious and beautifully clean - complete with composting toilet, basin and a shower.  Each bell tent also has its own fire pit with logs, and on colder nights the lovely owners will bring you hot water bottles to keep you warm.  There are walkways cut into the long meadow grass to encourage guests to stick to the paths and to maintain a natural habitat for the wildlife.  

Here you are on the doorstep of the magical **Shropshire Hills**, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a haven for walkers, wildlife lovers and explorers.  A landscape of hills, woodland, meadows full of wildflowers, steep climbs, waterfalls and excellent walking and biking trails, the Shropshire Hills are gorgeous for adventurers of all abilities.  Outdoor pursuits aside, By The Red Phone Box is also a short drive away from some excellent towns; the ancient market town of **Tenbury Wells**, **Ludlow**- with its medieval streets, pretty castle and world-famous annual Food and Drink Festival, **Leominster** and **Bridgenorth**.  The nearby **Wyre Forest** offers some great family friendly attractions such as the high wires of Go Ape, bike hire and cycling trails, play areas and a children's forest school.

By The Red Phone Box is the perfect place to completely rewild yourself and the kids.  Switch off, relax and enjoy the simple pleasures of outdoor living.  It is in a fantastic location to explore this lovely part of England and a wonderful place to escape it all.  At night, the dark skies provide great star gazing and the quietness of the site is only interrupted by the animals and wildlife around you.  A rather magical spot.

Welcome to the Wharf Caravan Park and Fisheries.

Situated at Holt Heath on the banks of the River Severn this family run holiday park offers a place to relax and enjoy the countryside.

There are three camping fields for caravans, tents, and camper vans, and, if you would like to own your own holiday getaway, there is a further field which holds 56 static caravans.  The fields surround two picturesque fishing lakes and skirt the banks of the River Severn this is the ideal place for a fishing holiday.

On site there is a shower and toilet block, gas is available and there is an Elsan point.  There are a small number of pitches with electric hook up available and early booking is advisable should you require one of these pitches.

The Wharf Inn situated on the banks of the River Severn with excellent riverside views is located at the bottom of the park hot food is available with outside seating and play area.

Within a couple of minutes walk of the park there is also a well stocked shop and off licence which also provides takeaway food in the evenings.

If fishing is not your idea of fun then there are plenty of places to spend your days.  The city of Worcester is just 6 miles away with museums such as the Tudor House Museum, Worcester Racecourse, and the Cathedral as well as lots of quirky shops.  If you prefer to stay a little closer Ombersley is just a mile away with Ombersley Golf Club for those who like to relax with a round of golf.

If you wander further afield then you can visit West Midlands Safari Park, the historic town of Bewdley, the Severn Valley Railway, the Cotswolds, the Wyre Forest, Kidderminster Carpet Museum, the Black Country Living Museum and much more.

All in all The Wharf Caravan Park and Fisheries is a great base from which to explore the Midlands.
There are three camping fields around the fishing lakes all laid to grass.

The washroom and toilet facilities including showers are available to all visitors.

Larger Motorhomes and Caravans as well as American RVs can be accommodated but booking is essential.
