Ventnor Heritage Museum houses an extensive assortment of many thousands of items concerning Ventnor as well as the area that is surrounding. There is certainly only an entry that is little for adults, and accompanied children visit free of charge, rendering it a powerful way to learn about the area.In addition to the things on view in the Exhibition Hall, the Museum archives contains loads of different products, including records, drawings, engravings, guides, letters, maps, models, magazines, paintings, photographs, postcards, posters, press cuttings, and scrap books. (to call but several!) You will find plenty products several of the displays and displays are changed annually, so there is always something a new comer to see.There are operational scale types of Ventnor Station, and Ventnor West Station, plus static scale models of Steephill Castle, Ventnor Mill, and a number of other local structures, plus RMS Titanic and Mauretania! Artefacts on display include a foot that is dinosaur, a cannon ball, a Singer sewing machine, and a classic Shop Till as you are able to actually have a go on!Please observe that the museum is available on Saturday mornings through the winter time.
