Bronze Pitch

In the heart of the gorgeous North Wales countryside you will find Bryn Ffanigl Ganol Caravan and Camping Park; a small, family run campsite where you will be greeted with open arms and given a very warm welcome.  It’s a rural spot, and with the glorious rolling green hills as a backdrop and 360 degree panoramic views from every pitch, it is not difficult to see why guests come back and stay here again and again.  It is a peaceful, friendly and quiet campsite in a tranquil setting; everyone is welcome (including dogs) and you are assured of a very relaxing stay.

The spacious pitches are well set out over the campsite with hardstanding and grass pitches available and a variety of options depending on whether you want a fully serviced pitch, electricity or a more basic tent pitch.  A spanking clean and underfloor heated shower and toilet block opened in 2018 and is very well maintained - still looking brand new actually - and there are all the facilities you need including a laundry, a washing up area and a chemical disposal.  They also have a tourist and information point, so if you are not familiar with this part of Wales, you can get your bearings and find out exactly what you can do in the local area and where things are.  The wardens on the campsite are always available and very happy to help out.

The location is cracking. The green farmland of Bryn Ffanigl Ganol sits only a few miles from the nearest beach and the north Wales coastal roads offer a vast variety of stunning scenery. Visit the elegant town of Llandudno, one of Britain’s most popular seaside resorts, with a history that goes back to the Bronze Age. Or Conwy - only 20 minutes away from the campsite - with its imposing 13th century Castle and walls that form part of the local UNESCO World Heritage Site.  The town walls are considered to be among the finest and most complete in Europe, stretching for nearly a mile around medieval Conwy, with 21 towers and 3 original gateways.  It is quite a sight.  If you don’t mind heights,  you can walk the length of the walls and will be treated to stunning views of the Castle and the estuary beyond.

Gwrych Castle, last year’s home to the celebs on “I’m a Celebrity Get me out of Here!” is a fifteen minute drive away; they are currently in the throes of a restoration project, but you can still visit and it is a spectacular building.  The coast and its attractions however are only half the story.  Bryn Ffanigl Ganol is close to the spectacular Snowdonia National Park, where you can hike, bike and climb to your heart’s content, with some of the most magnificent trails, mountains and lakes to be seen anywhere in the UK.  

Back at the campsite all is quiet.  The rural location means that your pitch is a welcome sanctuary at the end of a day exploring all north Wales has to offer.  And depending on how wild your adventures have been, you might be glad of a hot shower and an evening just putting your feet up and watching the sun go down.

A charming detached late 19th century converted Coach House set in the grounds of the owner's home which was once a Victorian preparatory school. The Coach House sleeps 4, plus ample room for a cot. The Coach House has been recently renovated and beautifully furnished. It benefits from its own private garden allowing personal access to the Prestatyn-Dyserth walkway and has been awarded 4 Star by Visit Wales.

The ‘Stables’ is set in the grounds of the owner's home adjoining the once Victorian preparatory school. The cottage sleeps 5 with ample room for a cot. We are pet friendly and welcome well behaved pets.

Recently renovated and furnished with careful attention to detail, the ‘Stables’ benefits from its own spacious private courtyard and has been graded ‘4 Star’ by Visit Wales.

We are a Greener Camping site who require every booking to have a membership which costs £12.  Some of the funds are used by Greener camping to purchase trees and bird boxes to offset some of the emissions created by guests visiting our site

Snowdrop Dome

Just three large private camping pitches nestled in amongst the wildflowers and meadow. Escape back to nature with the luxury of your own 'posh' eco/compost toilet on your pitch along with a campfire pit and picnic bench. A large camping pitch roughly 18m wide by 6m deep (including toilet, campfire and bench) on an existing campsite.

The pitch is non-electric however, there is a plug socket in the communal area to use for charging you are welcome to use, along with a shared freezer for ice packs, fridge, mini shop, washing up facilities, tourist information and games.

A hot powered large shower for the few camping pitches in the communal area is included in the price.

We provide a trolley or we can transport your luggage using a quad bike and trailer. Cars are kept in the car park about 150m away from the pitches.

Pant Y Rhedyn is a 10-acre smallholding sitting in the hills of the Conwy valley.  We are lucky to enjoy panoramic views of unspoilt countryside and the Snowdonia mountain range.  We are located centrally to the local tourist towns of Llanrwst and Llandudno. We are also a short drive away from Snowdonia National Park.

Enjoy meeting our animals up close.  We have Alpacas, pigs, sheep and chickens who all love attention from our guests.
 

We are a family recently relocated from Kent (although some families were originally from North Wales so we have come home) to set up our little smallholding in the beautiful surroundings of North Wales. We are building up our smallholding and currently have our vegetable garden, pigs, alpacas, sheep and chickens.  

Pant y Rhedyn, an old welsh longhouse is surrounded by plenty of trees, beautiful gardens and a vegetable garden. We have a small woodland to one side, a paddock for the sheep and alpacas on the other side and a rear meadow that is home to our dome accommodation.

From basic board control, power-kite flying through to beginner kiteboarding lessons and kite tricks. Kite-powered land and water sports are easy to learn, yet can provide challenges for even the most ambitious people. Based in Rhyl, North Wales our amazing beachfront training centre is the perfect location to learn kitesurfing. Our flat water lagoons make it easy to stand and progress safely prefect for water starts. Depending upon the wind direction we could be conducting your lessons either at our training centre in Rhyl, Porthmadog (Black Rock sands) Anglesey (Newborough beach) or Westshore (Llandudno) these really are the best kiting locations for learning in North Wales. When learning with Pro Kitesurfing, you can be sure that you will be taught to the highest standards and treated with respect during and after your kite surfing lesson. We will also qualify you, to certify your levels of achievement, which are recognized worldwide. We only teach kite surfing lessons following the set IKO guidelines and safety techniques. All 'Pro Kite surfing lessons' instructors are fully IKO qualified. 


Step by step tuition is the key in all of our kite surfing lessons, at your own pace making it a much easier way of learning to kite surf. Each of our lessons are for 3-4 hours long dependent on your stamina and weather conditions. Kitesurfers are reliant on the wind so if there is a change in conditions you will be updated 3-5 days before your lesson booking, so you can enjoy a great day out with us. We dont do refunds because we have to be flexible due to the weather changes. If we cannot complete your tuition on the day, then we will move your lesson to another day/week or simply add your hours on to the next lesson so you dont miss out :) All the latest North's kitesurfing equipment is used in our kite surfing lessons, wetsuits are provided and hygienically washed and cleaned after every kitesurfing lesson.
