Secluded yet Accessible Camping in the heart of Bodmin Moor
Colliford Lake Park Campsite is nestled amidst the rugged beauty of Bodmin Moor, which extends to almost 200 square kilometres. The Moor is the most South Westerly Upland Area in Britain. It is Internationally important for its rich and varied wildlife; it is home to a plethora of plants and some rare and protected species such as otters, Marsh Fritillary butterflies, bats and song birds such as the Stonechat and Wheatear. It is also the only place in the world where a rare moss, the Cornish Path Moss, grows.
