The Dunedin Guest home is a semi-detached Victorian Villa found on a large part that is sunny gardens and a lovely view of Arthur's Seat and Salisbury Crags. Built as a family group house in 1882, the house that is three-story divided in to two houses into the 1950's and returned to an individual dwelling about ten years ago. Sympathetically became the current rooms, the house is a listed building and therefore retains such original features as a magnificently lit cupola that dominates the central staircase and gives your house an spaciousness that is airy. Other original features will be the entry that is mosaic-tiled vestibule, ornate cornicing and a magnificent plasterwork thistle ceiling within the breakfast room. Original woodwork prevails throughout the guestrooms, as well, with massive pine that is canadian, panelling and dados. Check-in after 2.00pm, luggage could be left earlier in the day. We are about 20 minutes walk to the visitor tourist attractions of this populous town attractions or 10 minutes on the bus. Discover the coach that is regular on lothian buses software. Also near by is Edinburgh University, the Festival theatre, the Commonwealth Pool so we are walkeable to Arthurs Seat using its fantastic views of this town and areas being surrounding.
