Grampian Transport Museum

Grampian Transport Museum has dramatic shows, cool push button exhibits and multi-media presentations depict the real history of road travel in the region.With ever changing exhibits, repeat visits are typical as almost always there is one thing not used to see!The Climb Aboard interactive automobile exhibits consist of: buses, trams, a traction motor, a fire motor and a Mack Snow Plough. It is a living that is veritable with many transportation associated activities occurring through the entire available season and lots to see, do and discover. Activities consist of Alford Speedfest, Grampian Motorcycle Convention, Family Fun times and CycleFest.Plus, there's an adventure that is outside for you're under 12's to have their rev on! There are quizzes which can be always fun trails for the younger people to enjoy in the museum. Outside, the lawn that is front complete with distinctive blue phone box and Birkhall Steam Engine - is a great place to enjoy a picnic whilst the kids allow down steam into the custom play park.The Junior Driving School offers children the chance to 'drive' our miniature automobiles around our driving track, which can be solely designed and used for this function. They'll discover the fundamentals of driving security, taught by experienced and operators which can be friendly.
