Bronze Pitch

In the heart of the gorgeous North Wales countryside you will find Bryn Ffanigl Ganol Caravan and Camping Park; a small, family run campsite where you will be greeted with open arms and given a very warm welcome.  It’s a rural spot, and with the glorious rolling green hills as a backdrop and 360 degree panoramic views from every pitch, it is not difficult to see why guests come back and stay here again and again.  It is a peaceful, friendly and quiet campsite in a tranquil setting; everyone is welcome (including dogs) and you are assured of a very relaxing stay.

The spacious pitches are well set out over the campsite with hardstanding and grass pitches available and a variety of options depending on whether you want a fully serviced pitch, electricity or a more basic tent pitch.  A spanking clean and underfloor heated shower and toilet block opened in 2018 and is very well maintained - still looking brand new actually - and there are all the facilities you need including a laundry, a washing up area and a chemical disposal.  They also have a tourist and information point, so if you are not familiar with this part of Wales, you can get your bearings and find out exactly what you can do in the local area and where things are.  The wardens on the campsite are always available and very happy to help out.

The location is cracking. The green farmland of Bryn Ffanigl Ganol sits only a few miles from the nearest beach and the north Wales coastal roads offer a vast variety of stunning scenery. Visit the elegant town of Llandudno, one of Britain’s most popular seaside resorts, with a history that goes back to the Bronze Age. Or Conwy - only 20 minutes away from the campsite - with its imposing 13th century Castle and walls that form part of the local UNESCO World Heritage Site.  The town walls are considered to be among the finest and most complete in Europe, stretching for nearly a mile around medieval Conwy, with 21 towers and 3 original gateways.  It is quite a sight.  If you don’t mind heights,  you can walk the length of the walls and will be treated to stunning views of the Castle and the estuary beyond.

Gwrych Castle, last year’s home to the celebs on “I’m a Celebrity Get me out of Here!” is a fifteen minute drive away; they are currently in the throes of a restoration project, but you can still visit and it is a spectacular building.  The coast and its attractions however are only half the story.  Bryn Ffanigl Ganol is close to the spectacular Snowdonia National Park, where you can hike, bike and climb to your heart’s content, with some of the most magnificent trails, mountains and lakes to be seen anywhere in the UK.  

Back at the campsite all is quiet.  The rural location means that your pitch is a welcome sanctuary at the end of a day exploring all north Wales has to offer.  And depending on how wild your adventures have been, you might be glad of a hot shower and an evening just putting your feet up and watching the sun go down.

You will find a fridge and freezer to use in the communal area along with washing up facilities and designated showers for each dome.

We are a Greener Camping site who require every booking to have a membership which costs £12.  Some of the funds are used by Greener camping to purchase trees and bird boxes to offset some of the emissions created by guests visiting our site

Snowdrop Dome

Just three large private camping pitches nestled in amongst the wildflowers and meadow. Escape back to nature with the luxury of your own 'posh' eco/compost toilet on your pitch along with a campfire pit and picnic bench. A large camping pitch roughly 18m wide by 6m deep (including toilet, campfire and bench) on an existing campsite.

The pitch is non-electric however, there is a plug socket in the communal area to use for charging you are welcome to use, along with a shared freezer for ice packs, fridge, mini shop, washing up facilities, tourist information and games.

A hot powered large shower for the few camping pitches in the communal area is included in the price.

We provide a trolley or we can transport your luggage using a quad bike and trailer. Cars are kept in the car park about 150m away from the pitches.

WELCOME TO PANT Y RHEDYN

Pant Y Rhedyn is a 10-acre smallholding sitting in the hills of the Conwy valley.  We are lucky to enjoy panoramic views of unspoilt countryside and the Snowdonia mountain range.  We are located centrally to the local tourist towns of Llanrwst and Llandudno. We are also a short drive away from Snowdonia National Park.

Enjoy meeting our animals up close.  We have Alpacas, pigs, sheep and chickens who all love attention from our guests.
 

We are a family recently relocated from Kent (although some families were originally from North Wales so we have come home) to set up our little smallholding in the beautiful surroundings of North Wales. We are building up our smallholding and currently have our vegetable garden, pigs, alpacas, sheep and chickens.  

Pant y Rhedyn, an old welsh longhouse is surrounded by plenty of trees, beautiful gardens and a vegetable garden. We have a small woodland to one side, a paddock for the sheep and alpacas on the other side and a rear meadow that is home to our dome accommodation.

A charming detached late 19th century converted Coach House set in the grounds of the owner's home which was once a Victorian preparatory school. The Coach House sleeps 4, plus ample room for a cot. The Coach House has been recently renovated and beautifully furnished. It benefits from its own private garden allowing personal access to the Prestatyn-Dyserth walkway and has been awarded 4 Star by Visit Wales.

The ‘Stables’ is set in the grounds of the owner's home adjoining the once Victorian preparatory school. The cottage sleeps 5 with ample room for a cot. We are pet friendly and welcome well behaved pets.

Overlooking the sea in the North Wales village of Llanddulas, Bron-Y-Wendon Holiday Park is an independent, family run business which is open all year. Purchased in 1987, the park was originally just a small static park of 20 pitches with an old farmhouse and outbuildings. The park was developed over time and now, as well as the 20 pitch static park we have a 5-star Touring Park, developed in two phases, with 130 pitches. The old farmhouse was refurbished and is now four self-catering holiday cottages.

Everybody else, no real matter what age, can appreciate a creature that is precious earn some furry brand new friends at Manorafon Farm Park.Find this little treasure in the picturesque North Wales coastline, located just close to Gwrych Castle. Meet, greet and even feed their animals - from pigs to pooches; goats to constantly geese, they look forward to a delicacy! Regular control and bottle feeding sessions are held so are there tonnes of possibilities to get up close and individual with the locals.Keep your small bees busy with interior and play that is outdoor where they could slip, climb and crawl the afternoon away. Then when they want some slack, refreshments may be offered up, all before a drive that is peaceful within the vehicle. 

Manorafon Farm Park

Totally Ape is a spot that is perfect take small monkeys to play.The indoor play area is sectioned off into two sections; one for toddlers and children and also the larger play framework would work for teenagers as much as the chronilogical age of 12. Small but perfectly formed - there are two main slides, ball pool, platforms to climb up on and add-ons to play with. Moms and dads can flake out within the cafi round the play area, as they take full advantage of the freedom is a safe, protected environment.Ideal for a rainy time for them to keep an in depth eye on kids!

Totally Ape

Old Colwyn Beach is golden sand supported by a broad promenade that is sweeping. a good amount of sitting, refreshment kiosks and vehicle parking.The bay gets really busy in summer with jet skiing, cruising and other water activities. There's good sea fishing from the rocks at Penmaen Rhos and good swimming all over cover.You can follow a nature and historic trail up the River Colwyn Valley from the promenade through the Fairy Glen nature book, which can be overlooked by some pretty ruins and also at the clifftop you can find excellent views if you're able to prevent the others, though there is absolutely no lifeguard. The Harlequin Puppet Theatre, built in 1958, continues presenting programs which fascinate children and delight adults. Superb Puppetry and Magic creates Great Entertainment in this Award-Winning theatre.The theatre opens for all the school that is primary periods. A new show is presented for each half term getaway.As well once the primary manufacturing each show also features Mr. Bimbamboozle and their Magic Tricks with much assistance and involvement by the youngsters, and every performance concludes with a selection of things in Marionette Cabaret from a wide repertoire of stories, musical and dream products.
