Just take the train via the Esk Valley line to Whitby, stopping down at Grosmont for the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway where you are able to see Goathland, home of ITV's Heartbeat.Visit Helmsley and Pickering with their ancient castles and bustling areas and gardens which are stunning. Rievaulx Abbey and Hutton-Le-Hole with Ryedale Folk Museum are also within comfortable access. Visit the Yorkshire coastline of Staithes, Runswick Bay, Sandsend and Robin Hood*s Bay.Family room:The family or dual (flexible sleeps 2-4) bed room is at the front of the house with panoramic moorland views. A supplementary bed may also be provided to support a child that is 2nd.
